Can't believe this was uploaded two years ago and I just found it today. What an amazing show by a young Popes. They were still playing the early 'punk' versions of Paul and My Lucky Day. Without a doubt, the greatest band no one knows about. I've turned so many people onto them over the decades and they always say the same thing...'How have I never heard of these guys???'
0:30 Just Broke Up 2:26 Not That Kind of Girlfriend 4:36 Paul 7:23 My Lucky Day 9:43 Waiting Around 13:03 Adena 14:51 Writing a Letter 19:28 Capital Cristine 21:55 Need You Around 25:18 Can't Find It 27:40 Everybody Loves to Cha Cha Cha (Sam Cooke cover) 29:01 Gotta Know Right Now 31:57 Run Away 35:07 Midnight Moon WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for uploading this concert, if there ever was a band that deserved to be rich and famous, that band is Smoking Popes. The voice, the lyrics, the music, dog dammit!
You can hear all the early versions of the songs and at a BPM I think they should have been played at. Like Paul for example. I was at this show. I was 15.

Did Local H play at this show?
I want to say it was 3 bands: Menthol, Triplefast Action and Lotus Crown but I've been to 40 Popes shows so they all blur but this was my first.
It was Pegboy. Anything amazing band that never got as big as they should have.
