How FUN!!! You were so close to my cute neighborhood. I’m glad to see you were there on a ☀️day. There aren’t too many of those this time of year. Thanks for visiting. Safe travels ❤
Hey Mike! I gotta say I'm impressed with the seemingly endless litany of cities you drive through while recording to provide us with a look into the vast urbanity of the USA, as well as the cultural wastelands of once-proud communities. I truly appreciate the hard work you put into this cinematographic saga.
I grew up in Canton...left it 40 years ago come this Jan. The one landmark I miss glad they haven't torn that down is the Palace Theater... Beautiful inside
I've been in several midwest cities and i'll be darn if houses, roads, and infrastructure looks just alike. I could like in any city and never miss a beat.
I loved the original paved brick portion of Cleveland Ave. Oh, and Taggarts ice cream shop on Fulton Ave. makes me kinda homesick now. Oh, you just drove by the house I lived in on Clarendon Ave.
I was in Canton a couple Summers ago, never seen so many white women with mixed kids, it was quite the surprise, never seen that many even in cleveland
Thats where country singer hank senior was supposed to do a concert.he died in the back seat of his cadillac on the way..his driver he hired to take him.was arrested for his murder
Used to live at 604 Cleveland Ave South, nice to see that the old house is still there. And it looks like the apartments are still there in the corner of 4th and Cleveland North.... dang I miss the old crew, Buddha, Evil J, Cheeto, Kevin,Daylin and the local bands the bastards, factor 69, gold-plated hollow point...
Most areas within Canton City is not a good place to live for many reason's. Didn't grow up there but resided for about 28 years. Plain and Jackson township in Canton is better.
I lived in Canton for almost 2 years and it’s not that bad to be honest. I lived at the edge of North Canton (really safe) which is a really nice area. I miss it and I wish I can move back.

The guy that wrote the theme songs for The Brady Bunch and Family Affair as well as other important musical pieces grew up in Canton

It’s sad to see how much Canton has declined over the years.
I live in Northeast Ohio, but I've never been to downtown Canton before. Thanks for the tour. I didn't know they named a street after the O'Jays.
I never knew that either until I watched this vid. I'm guessing The O'Jays are from Canton or something? Idk
@@ryanearles2024 Yes, they are from Canton. I knew that, but I wasn't aware they named a street after them.
Nice way to end the video at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Mike!

I would like to ask everyone if Canton is a good place to live because I am moving there. Thank you.
