The obsession with FMX at X Games needs to end. They need to bring back inline and add scooters instead of tacking on new moto events. Nothing against this. But as a separate event, it's a bit of a joke.

FMX already has plenty of events, including the very similar stepup event. Enough already. Also, I've always been a fan of inline. It's incredible what the skaters can do on vert, and mega. Banning the sport was an act of stupidity. I'm sorry you're so obsessed with FMX. Everyone else isn't. So get over it.

But if ESPN/ABC barages us with pointless skate, and BMX events, I'd feel the same. And inline died down only when X Games put out the sport to die, which was ridiculous.
