Gambit is one of my favorite X-men /Marvel legends characters of all time and this is one of the best if not the best custom gambit figures I have seen so far great job.
Gambit is the reason I love Marvel and comic books in general. I’ve resisted doing a custom, but I just decided to. Look up custom methods and bam! Here it is! I subbed and look forward to benging your videos and following your instructions for props, etc. Thanks Bro!
I know I'm super late to the party, but if you're looking to metallicize that magenta paint I'd highly reccomend Vallejo Metal Medium, you basically mix it into any color to have a metallic version of said hue. It can lighten the color a bit so you might want to mix it a tad darker initially. I've been using it for a couple of months now and I can't reccomend it enough. It's definitely a game changer.
Ok so I've mod my new gambit too, painted extra hands so now he has 7 all together, also added his thumb ring like the real life costume, I have the cloth coat on too but I put wires in the coat for maximum posing, also covered the leg pegs, didn't switch out arm cause I don't mind the originals but after seeing ur vid I now know how so thanks, best gambit ever
Amazing work bro, the hair change and coat swap just turned out nicely, wish I could learn the torso pop, but I never have extra money to buy extras to practice on, but I learn a lot from watching your videos, so thanks for the tutorials
Great imagination! You inspired me to try and custom my Gambit. With the brother Voodoo arms do the gold bands on his wrist just pull off or will I need to heat them up to remove? Hope to see more videos soon! Thanks for the help.
Amazing job! While I do agree Hasbro outdid ToyBiz with Cable, Gambit, Bishop, ]Beast n even a Wolverine that I don't have are pieces I think are still unmatched, yours did a nice trick in creating something better. Question: The drying trick works with the helmets? I hate how the new Magnetos don't have removable helmets and I'd love to take out one from the extra heads in the Family Matters pack, is it recommendable or do you recommend another action?
Real awesome bro! Gambit was definitely underwhelming for me, due to the rubber coat and single jointed arms. I think getting the Revoltech so recently ruined the ML for me haha. I definitely wanna try some of your techniques and mod the ML, I always liked the ToyBiz jacket too and mine is still in good shape. Great video!
Yo that was amazing! I do plan on modifying it too when I find a Gambit lol and I did plan on using the X Men classics Gambit for the hair piece and to switch out the arms but now I'm still not sure it'll work.
is there any figure this guy was actually satisfied with and didn't have to customize. Just saying cuz to me theres nothing wrong with this gambit in the first place.
That's the gambit we need damn
Difference Too Stoned that’s not the gambit we deserve, but that’s the gambit we need
Why is it so hard for hasbo to just use all new parts they should have went all out on their 1st gambit
Nice work man! He came out dope! I like the way it looks without the jacket.
YOO. Hi im subed to u too. U two should collab
Thanks Man!! Might make another one with the new retro card and keep it jacketless.

That sounds great!! Thanks for the tip!!
Dude ...,, mad skill . I thought I was watching a Craig Warwick video.
Keep it tight alright !!!
Thanks!! Craig is an absolute LEGEND!!
I was already going to do the coat swap but now I definitely have to do the hair too. It makes a huge difference.
Your attention to detail is insane!
Thank You!!
You know, the figure as-is was great, but your personal touch definitely takes it to a new level, awesome work!
Thanks!!
Great custom. Really nice.
Thanks a lot Man!!
This is excellent bro. Def using these methods when I get mine
Thanks Man!!
Great custom, wish I owned the toy biz gambit I would like to give this a try
Excellent Very Good! congratulations!
Thank You!!
It did inspire me, i want to make a custom gambit but more based on his Marvel vs Capcom look
Nice I'm doing mines like that to but everything is going to be real
Man this is great! Awesome job
Who thumbs this down? Good work man.
+Boog_ACBA I guess they're not Tommy Boy fans lol... Thanks Brotha!!
I can't do custom, i really want to be good at custom like u man
Great work
It looked so awesome
+Benom SR Thanks!!!
wow , great man! perfect!
Thanks!!
I did the hair swap on mine. Not too hard. Thanks very much for posting this.
Great job, bro!
This is an awesome custom bro!
Thank You!!
Great tips and look
Awesome mod man! 👍
Gambit was always my favorite when I was a kid.
Wow, awesome work! Thanks for sharing Mike. Your mods are always dope!
Dope a.f. kid!! I wish we could all get a gambit like this-!
Thanks Man!!
Great work as always my friend!
Waiting on a new marvel legends update vid lol, hope everything is going well
Thanks Bro!!
Definitely gonna swap his hair now. Thanks for the video
Yea Dude!!
Very inspiring Awsome custom man
Thank You!!
Great, excelent job bro,
Thanks!!
This looks amazing. So much better than what Hasbro made. I was planning on customizing this figure too.
Awesome!! Thanks!!
Cool. Almost got rid of the toybiz gambit earlier today.
Amazing upgrades! 🔥
Thanks!!
sick work as always.
A metallic medium mixed with your pink paint might work. Great looking figure!
Gambit Toy biz + Gambit Hasbro = thats figura
Amazing job dude. Hasbro should hire you
Thanks!! That would be cool.
Nice one.
Thanks Bro!!

you could color match that metallic paint with cheap nail polish
Oooh.. Good call.
awesome
Finally someone actually acknowledges the Hasbro hair sculpt is utter trash
Oh, yeah, that's true!
Yeah, it looks like the old Toy-Biz 5 inch figure's hair. I hate it! Lol
Great vid man. Just dropped a sub✌🏻️
+Josiah Tiglao Hell Yea!! Thanks Dude!!
Thanks that was great!
Thanks Man!!
Cool cool man
What do you mean brushing on super glue? And what type of clear coating do you use? Bc every time I use clear coat it leaves my custom sticky
Great imagination! You inspired me to try and custom my Gambit. With the brother Voodoo arms do the gold bands on his wrist just pull off or will I need to heat them up to remove? Hope to see more videos soon! Thanks for the help.
Yo this dude looks way better without the coat and your custom arms. The coat just hides the detail from the body. Great fucking job bro👍
@Punker Mike - have you ever thought about using Finger Nail Paints for those shinny colors?
Mike nice work here. Funny how the jacket looks too big on the toybiz gambit, but works GREAT with the hasbro gambit. Impressive. Subscribed.
Thanks Man!! I never realized how tiny the ToyBiz Gambit was until the Hasbro came out.
Those hands on the gambit would be good for a custom 1/12 scale Michael Jackson Bad music video figure.
How much do u charge to customize the arms for the new jacket to fit, dont need them painted just taking off the marvel legends coat to swap, thanks
This is very nice! Do you do commission work?
Hello sir. You did a great job with this thing! What would you charge to do all if this if i were to send you all the things you need, parts wise?
Thanks!!
Were you serious about repainting that Rogue figure? I'd very much like to see that.
Nice work dude 👍🏿
Thanks Bro!!
I wish it looked like this
Thanks!!

Thanks!! You can heat up almost any softer plastic with a hair dryer or warm water. The Helmet should come off with heat no doubt.
Where did u get the jacket from
Real awesome bro!
Hell Yea Dude!!
Dope
Can you do this for me ? I'll buy Hasbro gambit and toy biz gambit if I can get one with out the black nose chip
Can you review the usagi yojimbo figure I saw in one of your video
Would you recommend getting a KO mafex figure to use to create a custom gambit? I hat legends torsos and how they are just cut at the waist
That would be cool! Mafex has great articulation.
Where did you buy your mini playing cards for Gambit figure from?
Good job yeet
The hair on the new hasbro gambit was a fail. Your mod made it a million times better.👍👏
Thank You!!
Sorry about the bump from forever ago.. but would future foundation spidey arms work? I have him just in a fodder bin.
Yea it'll probably work.. that figure has butterfly joints right? That would be the only hang up if any.
Love the video. I’m starting to get into customs myself and I am having a hard time with flesh tones. What paints would you recommend?
+Lord Dracolich I like Kislev Flesh by Citadel. Its a good base, you can add either white or brown to lighter or darken.
And if you can't use what he uses just do a mix of red white yellow black and blue
Are the arms easy to replace with just pulling and pushing with a hairdryer?
+MEGA MAN From the upper biceps yea. To remove the shoulders, you must crack the torso.
@@PunkerMike thanks man, one last question do you need to cut down the side of the torso and remove the blue plate?
Yo that was amazing! I do plan on modifying it too when I find a Gambit lol and I did plan on using the X Men classics Gambit for the hair piece and to switch out the arms but now I'm still not sure it'll work.
Great work. You just earned a sub from me
+leyenda61 Thanks Man!!
Hi
How did you removed that silver bracelets from Havok?
Thanks
I actually used Brother VooDoo arms
is there any figure this guy was actually satisfied with and didn't have to customize. Just saying cuz to me theres nothing wrong with this gambit in the first place.
Look at it closely..
Some of us just like putting a personal touch on our figures.
Can't wuite place the awesome music intro. Is that BOYP? Maybe Super Friends?
+leyenda61 Mix Master Mike sampling Big Boss.
What kind of paint do you use for retouching the face?
Citadel.. They have a few different flesh shades available.
I really, REALLY, hate the #UpperThighCut that #Hasbro has being putting on new #MarvelLegends figures. #BallJoints were much, MUCH, better.
how do you get the arms off?
I seriously want to get into custom making but, I have neither the patience or skill. Haha
This coat gambit toybiz fit in gambit mezco?
Mezco might be too big
Thinkin bout customizin mine
Do it!!!
@@PunkerMike wow that's weird u say that I started last week 🤣🤣
Wish you made a mold of that hair...
I need to find someone to do this for me. I have both figures. Internet here I come.
10:54, this nerd probably made them jump off camera.
I would have🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
Creo que Hasbro vio tu video porque tan solo un año después lanzo la variante uncanny que casualmente tiene el cabello muy similar a la de toy biz
How i can make the coat?🥺
The coat comes with Marvel Legends ToyBiz Gambit.
I warm the torso a lot and it got deformed
Hear me out - I'm lazy. How much I gotta pay you to do this for me?
Custom level 3000
🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
while im impressed with the final product its just a shame you had to destroy the Toybiz Gambit
+Tyler Watkins I purchased a broken Gambit years back to salvage for a custom and I think it only cost me $5.
Punker Mike oh cool. sorry for being rude. great work
No worries.. Thanks man!!
