ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

A lot of memories from the figure I had in 1992 are being stirred by this guy. The color palate is on point and the hair style is definitely an improvement. If only he had a spring loaded right leg for kicking. If you were around 10 in 1992 you’d get that.
I would preorder but I don’t know what to do with him just yet.
I still have that figure. Though it's beat up from wear and tear with his staff and paint missing.

The best thing about that Amazing Yamaguchi figure is the box. Great artwork and It even has extra card you can cut out for him.

Yea I sold my amazing yamaguchi gambit. It was shitty lol the mezco Gambit is probably the best one out right now, I can't wait till the Mafex one comes out.
Yamaguchi line was never meant to be displayed in neutral standing pose and he did not arrange the joint properly either.
You will get to see the magic of the yamaguchi line when u posing them. It is also hard to pose as u need to understand how the joint works, they r quite different than other action figures. But once u get them working they can pull off the most crazy pose u can imagin.
The Caliban wave release of Gambit didn't come with a BAF piece either.
I really hope I can find these two figures. Target don’t let me down

One problem with the figure before watching the review *TARGET EXCLUSIVE*
Target exclusive legends outside of Red Hulk are usually pretty easy to find. The new storm I’d everywhere.
@@macoto7976 Only target exclusive I have ever found was April and Foot Soilder two pack and Black Widow.
@@mivvy3182 the marvel legends usually distributed well but the other lines like NECA and the GIJOE classified line are another story.
Might be my state but I have only seen Storm and War Machine and that was 2 storms and 1 WM. Nothing else was in my state. I got a Red Hulk only because I payed an overnight guy to look out for one

I can't wait to pay insane mark up prices for this and Rogue. Targets website is so broken that I can't even search "marvel legends" at all. It shows "recommended" at the very bottom but is a completely blank search.
I hope all these exclusive retail deals are good for Hasbro, because they definitely don't do collectors any favors.

To be honest, the headsculpt and its' paint application of the Caliban wave Gambit looks better overall.

There is definitely a sculptor working on the Legends line that really likes the too-far-apart eyes. There are a lot of figs that have that problem, unfortunately.
Might kitbash this with the first Gambit.
I definitely prefer the calliban wave Gambit but I’m gonna be swapping the hair and painting the hand to have the ultimate marvel legends Gambit for the shelf 😂

I’d really like to see a rant/review of that Revoltech Gambit. I liked the RED rant and even the older rant videos from the past. I’d like to see a rant on that Gambit
you should try switching the trench coat with the arms bc I feel like the brighter trench coat would look good on the older gambit
Overall, I think it’s a better figure, but honestly, the ultimate gambit figure is a combo of the two. The new one’s hair, skin tone, coat color, armor color, and accessories, with the stubble and black pants/head brace, instead of the navy blue, would’ve been ideal. Gambits my fave so I’ll def still get it, but Gambit has always worn black, never navy blue.
Like the coloring on this one a lot.

In the hasbro team Interview I recall them saying the figures would be In store only and would be released sometime in December.My guess maybe late November early December as prepping for xmas.Theres been talk about xmen endcaps with rogue and gambit so I hope there are enough cuz these figures will be sought after for sure.Either way best of luck hunting!

Pass the differences aren’t that much that it would be worth replacing the caliban wave one maybe if it came with different accessories.....it’s cool I would probably swap the arms and jacket to see how the lighter jacket works in the older one but for the cost just to try that out nah not worth it

I will absolutely pick this up, I couldn't stand looking at the other gambits wierd af hair sculpt. I did kitbash different hair on him and got him a dope soft goods trench coat with hot pink inner lining but I will get this and replace the arms with double jointed black arms so his coat will look great. This new figure has a better head, better fx, and even comes with a new hand so he can double fist his rod, I mean bow staff 😂 anyways the only thing I like more about the first gambit is the shade of hot magenta he had his chest cast in but thats a trade off im completely ok with
The coolest thing is im just about to pre-order this figure and the rogue and yet you already have it on hand!

Sorry to break to you, but the Caliban wave release has the cartoon accurate colors, not this one. This is more accurate to the vintage Toybiz Gambit.

I have Anthony customs custom Gambit head that looks amazing and I won't be picking this up because of that. This one is still very good though.
