He is sych a terribly under rated Bassist imo. He had a natural ability to inject some of the most amazing groove oriented Bass lines in the constructs of Rock. Also from what I've told he was a great human being and was regarded by those close to him then as being quite humble and extremely kind.
That bass solo is my favorite of all time, Porcaro was real legend. 🙏
