Rise Ball Grips

There are two ways that I teach my rise ball grip and this will partially depend on the hand size of the girl I’m teaching/what is more comfortable.
For the first grip, getting the ball on the side of the index and the middle finger is the most important as that’s what creates the spin and naturally helps getting the fingers under the ball. The curled right finger helps create a coil per say to snap the ball of and create the spin.
The second grip still puts the four seams into the rise ball spin, but relies more on the fingers staying long and whipping the ball through.
Overall both grips can be used and I have my pitchers try both when learning the rise ball regardless of hand size or anything else.
