Would love a video about facial redness not related to rosacea and how to handle it. I have a lot of red in my face and KP on my cheeks and I feel like I am at war with redness.
B5 Baume La Roche Posay will help with that. (I suffer from it as well)
I've been wondering the same thing! My redness comes and goes depending on illness etc.
I would like an anti-aging summer routine for mature skin with a little wrinkles and a tendency to melasma.
Azelaic acid has been the most effective for me for redness and PIE. I do still have a bit of redness on my cheeks but it is much better!
When i was diagnosed with a sun allergy 55 years ago, i started wearing sunscreen everyday when i got out of the shower. Im from California. When i moved to New York i still do. No one believes my age

Hey dr. Idriss, I took your advice & bought cheap satin pillowcases off of amazon so I can change my pillow cases every second day. Not only did I see a HUGE DIFFERENCE in my acne but my hair felt better too! I also change my hand towel in my bathroom every second day as well and try to only use it for my hands, NOT MY FACE. I found cheap disposable towels (that are so big u can cut in half) and those are the only things I use to dry my face. Also if I’m having any issues with my face I got “back to basics “. One face wash, one active & one moisturizer. That way I can add one at a time the things I want to try to fix any problems that have arisen. So Thanks Dr. Idriss for all your advice & teaching us about skincare Especially the vanicream vitamin c and diaper rash cream. Made a gigantic difference to my skin. Thank u so so much!!🩷🙏

fun fact! we don't actually get closer to the sun in the summer! the earth is actually closest to the sun in its orbit around January. seasons have more to do with the tilt of the earth toward or away from the sun than they do how close we are! (still use sunscreen though!)

I'm so happy to hear you incorporate arnica in your line. I have been been using it for decades, especially when my acne was bad. I was surprised I didn't hear about it much when I fell down the skin care rabbit hole a few years ago. Hopefully more people are aware of it now and it's many uses.

For environmental allergies - another key thing to talk about (and maybe mention in the future) is the surface exchange of allergens. Pollen and dander stick to hair, clothes, and skin. The importance of taking off your coat by the front door, not wearing shoes in the house, not sitting on your bed in outdoor clothes. Changing sheets weekly at least and pillowcases twice a week. Making these changes in the allergy seasons can make the biggest difference for allergy symptom control, at least when indoors.
Also nasal toilet with the netti-pit or similar system can make a HUGE difference (although it’s so hard to be compliant with, I personally can’t do it, but do recommend it 🙈)

SO thankful for your videos. I learned my constant small red spots were actually from too much moisture (as I use Tretinoin, you get dry and want to moisture..)and that it was fungal acne. Nothing worked, until using dandruff schampoo!! I would totally visit yr clinic if I were a New Yorker. You are the best!👏🌟

This is a timely video, between menopause, Spring time change, and allergies (everything is red and itchy), my skin is going nuts! I rotate and use different products depending if my skin is more reactive or not, it's made a difference.
Because of medical DX and RX to treat, I use SPF 50, every day, indoors and out, rain or shine. For me, maintaining the habit is easier, just like brushing my teeth/taking vitamins, I incorporate it into the routine.

Use your skincare serums on your hands, I use retinol and vitamin c serum on my hands.
Also make sure to always protect your hands with sunscreen in the morning.
Hands look less wrinkly when they’re more moisturized. My ultimate routine for my dry hands at tonight, is to lather them in okeefe’s working hands cream, then top it with Vaseline. You can wear a glove if things get too greasy.

Thank you!!! The skin on the neck tends to more sensitive for most people. You can try buffering over a moisturizer in that area.
