Thank you for the example - this is precisely what I was looking for. All the other examples were using nested XLOOKUP formulae - which constantly returned a #VALUE or other #ERR - at least in my specific model.
I usually never comment, but your solution is just AWESOME!!! I looked and wasted my time on different pages, and videos, and no one had this solution, which is exaclty what I was looking for! THANK YOU!!!

You sir, made me do a happy dance. I had a lamda that I couldn't sync data between two tables. This fixed it so simply! Thank you!
If you have your Data in a Matrix format, you can just nest two xlookup functions. Just a nice trick, to get around index(match).
This is what i am looking for long time. Thanks
Awesome! This is exactly what I needed! Thanks for posting 🙏
I prefer using pipes to separate the two criteria, but yeah, this method has been around for a bit. Thanks for the reminder!

THX BRO, using
Excellent 👌
Got a question. What if I wanted to search for a value in multiple non continuous columns and return they adjacent cell. For example, look up a value in a1 and look up array in b1 to b5 and return c1 to c5 but also do the same for a second lookup array in e1 to e5 with return f1 to f5. So if value from a1 is found in b OR e it will return whats in c or f. Hope that makes sense.
Very helpful
Love you
Nice, thanks! It would be nice if you uploaded the sample file also so that we could practice with you. Thanks

This is so neatly explained. But I am struggling here with a model for say - in the data Angelina from Tax department has multiple managers (robin, mark, henry, martin, etc, there is no date to sort from) how can I just get a return value for say one particular manager? Can you help??
Very useful 👍
Thank you
I have excel sheet , price according to number of persons , would like to get the price for the service I choose when i add how many persons I have
i need to lookup two coloumn, one number and other general, how can i do it?
What if I have two lookup values, and lookup array in four column, how we will apply formula ?
You are a genius
Thank you
Please teach us more conditional formatting for xlookups
Hey.. this multiple criteria xlookup isn't working on my system (using 2021 ms office pro plus) shows #na, however, its working absolutely fine on web excel. Any idea whats the issue?
It should work. Not sure on the issue
Thanks a lot as this is a game changer! However, i wanted to check if this function makes excel slower? i used it on a file where i dragged the same formula on more than 600 rows and after that the file became very slow... even when i filter it takes time.
I never faced such issue. But you can select cells or column which has only data
@@DigitalDcode i noticed my file size jumped to 7MB... it is probably cause i am applying the formula on an excel table
Instead of selecting the column range and fixed it (e.g. $B$4:$B$25), what's the downside of just using the whole column B?
If the data has about twenty thousand rows, which function has the fastest processing speed and returns the fastest results? Xlookup or sql or another ...?
XLOOKUP
why do u freeze it?
Even after typing the same formula in multiple criteria, # N/A is coming… What is the reason?
I cannot make this work and I have no idea why. if anyone is able to help, please let me know
Hii add in this formula Sumifs
what if one of the criteria is horizontal and two vertical.
The same solution should work
@@DigitalDcode it didn't work so i used sumproduct
He keeps saying "freeze it"? when he adds the wildcards. How is he doing that?
Click F4- it freezes a cell location by adding $ to the column and row location
is this file downloadable
No
Would be nice if there is no noise of keyboard buttons
