6:42 on this I have to speak up, been thinking about this… we’ll get gta vi in 2025 but shortly after the next gen of consoles will come into play and we’ll no longer own any physical game copies for any other future release, most will end up paying twice for gta and some will end up paying more to play games they had on disc unless companies allow us to get the game we’ve played on disc and have previous data for on our accounts history. Otherwise, disc format is basically now totally obsolete. Kinda frightening to think because now we won’t own the thing we’re paying for if they decide to ban an account or restrict access, collectors editions will lose insane amounts of value if they come with decent collectibles. HOWEVER! it’s now the time to present those sealed games we’ve all got kept hidden away, their value is about to go up even more with the end of the disc format!! Any sealed games, any sealed collectors boxes, any sealed top quality movie on dvd or collectors editions of those too!! All of it, is gonna go up in value because they’re gonna be relics same way vhs went. Yo last video player I had was one of those tvs in the early 2000s that had the dvd and the video player, last videos we ever got were Harry Potter and shrek😂 wish I had sealed ones of those
I've beaten this game a few years back, and it was... fine. Like a 6 out of 10. It has some nice visuals for sure, but the gameplay is both repetitive and janky, while being kinda fun. Worst part is that the world is very static and not worthy of exploring, and as the story progresses, some enemies get very spongy, making those combat sections a chore, even when upgrading correctly.
for me tho the towns is abit empty compared to the packed towns setting in the manga/anime the game kinda lack on playable chars when it comes to the straw hat crew
I guess I’m such a One Piece fan that I didnt have any issues with it and loved the crap outta this game. I felt a bit underwhelemed by dlc 1 tho. Will have to revisit sometime for the other dlc I havent played yet
Whenever odyssey goes on sale I might get it. It got turn based fighting, which is new for a One Piece game. Im just glad their getting away from the warriors type of games.
There are still manuals in modern games. PS5 versions of Lost Judgment and Like Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name has them with controller layout and character portraits/ bios, well the Asian version anyway(that still comes with English language anyway), not sure about the American version.
12:43 How I feel about Breath of the Wild/ Tears of the Kingdom. I only get a few hours a day to play something between work and other crap, and I'd rather it not take half-a-year to beat a game that I'm playing due to time constraints, lol.
I’ve completed this game to 100% and I absolutely adore One Piece. However, calling this game anything but mediocre is ridiculous. Not only is there no memorable music or plot points but there’s also a myriad of flops in game design. Extremely dull combat, an extremely generic world, (in comparison to everything else OP has to offer) and so much missed potential.
To me it was the biggest disappointment of an anime game because for once I thought bandai was gonna try harder to give me the experience I wanted with world seeker but it ended up just being a lackluster unfinished open world and a story that only takes a few hours not counting the repetitive side fetch quests that kinda doesn’t really give any meaningful experiences to complete. It also showed me that bandai would never actually try and make anything good. I mean yeah the pirate warrior games offer a lot of fun especially with like the amount of characters you can play but if you’ve played one of them you’ve played all of them and they don’t offer any new ground really or give me the definitive one piece experience. I think unlimited world red had probably come the closest but even then that game leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe one day we’ll get something of merit.
This game would have been good if they removed the damn snipers and added some music when you free roamed. It's just a little below average because they give you decent traversal and then punish you for using it almost immediately. I don't know what the developers were thinking when they made this game.
I see lots of people complain about the combat and honestly?...i think its honestly just people being bad and or not learning the pvp. I always have fun perfect countering attcks and then in the slow mo figuring out how to align myself to dodge and attack enemies just like an anime character. I almost NEVER use tension attacks outside of bosses or high hp enemies.
I love this game! I got it with all dlc episodes and outfits for 8 bucks for cyber monday last week , I listened to the hate it got but I definitely love it now I wish one piece had more open world games plus gliding around with gum gum rocket is too dam fun
I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the DLC playable characters for this but I assume you probably don’t own them maybe, you get to play as Zoro + Law and Sabo too (who you haven’t met yet)
Im still shocked that a franchise with nigh infinite potential for fun non canon adventure games gets this kind of uninspired treatment from devs. You could do literally anything in a one piece based game as long as it makes sense world wise but then they give us stuff like this. Its a damn shame , imagine a wind waker style one piece game , or an island cebtric adventure game with an actual good story.... Eh atleast the unlimited cruise games are decent. This game had the right idea , the straw hats go to island , get into fun adventure shenanigans, leave island. But its executed so poorly and has no soul.
Honestly, every anime needs at least 1 Musou game. For some odd reason, anime just translates really good into Musou games. I mean they somehow made an Attack on Titan Musou game work. I still can't believe we haven't gotten a DBZ Musou game yet.
Don't understand how people can complain about the fighting style of WS. I mean Pirate Warriors has been a nonsensical rumbling of random punches for years. Should I also bring up Odyssey and its Pokemon fighting style?
I hate this game and I regret spending money for it tbh. The gameplay is very repetitive, the combat system is awful, the open world is generic af, I never finished it and never will. I really liked Odyssey tho, it was a way more interesting game if you like turn based rpg
The trailer for this game is what finally got me to watch one piece and i’m glad. It was a pretty mediocre game overall but I take what I can get and I had fun going for all the achievements.
One Piece Pirate Warriors are a good One Piece brand name now. Other then that they did make make a 3D fighting game for One Piece before this game as well Burning Blood
I've always said, it's a sin that we live in a universe where Assassins Creed Black Flag and Insomniac's Spiderman exist, but we still can't get a great One Piece game.
I love this game i mean its basically spiderman for me because i dont have a playstation. I can understand why others dont like it because of it being repetitive and other stuff but for me personally its a pretty good game
Bro I was SOOOOO HYPED for this game and when I finally played it, I was bored after about 2 hours in. Its such an empty world, and repetitive game. I had such high hopes. PW3 was way better. Simply put its just not a fun game. Which is just really sad. Unlimited World Red is Still my fave, that game was awesome!
What i didnt liked of the game is that the boss fights are exactly the same as all fights i wish they would give some love to the boss fights of they combine the world of this game with the boss fights of one Piece unlimited world red it would have been one of the best one Piece games
If you like One Piece games why not try the “One Piece warriors” series. I am not a fan of One Piece but I do love Warriors like games and I had fun playing “One Piece Warriors” but since you are a fan of the series One Piece I’d like to see you opinion of it. After you manage to finish the series. Though from what I saw of the first 3 “Pirate Warriors” games they tend to only let you play up to the end of whatever season was finished upon their release date. So far I think the only one of the “One Piece Pirate warriors” has actually moved to the most recent season of One Piece is “Pirate Warriors 4” so I think you’d be safe to at least starting the “Pirate Warriors” at the first and second one since only cover up to season 3. Though it still might spoil some parts if you are just starting watching the series.
is this bout to turn into a one piece series retrospective like naruto and dbz? not saying its a suggestion or anything wink wink. there sure are aloooot of one piece games most of us never played
When it comes to One Piece Pirate Warriors, heres my opinion 1&2: didnt play 3: the best, the dlc adds so much to the game and theres so much to do. Absolutely love it 4: gameplay is evolved but theres not as much content and if youre like me, you 100% the game and then when the dlc came out it was only characters, so hopping in for 5 minutes to try them was boring asf. Theyre adding some stuff now to new dlc but its not the same
it's a VERY empty open world. Look at the footage in your first minutes luffy is running across a city/village esque environment and literally nobody or anything is happening
Its such a missed opportunity to not have custom outfits for the straw hats, like seriously every movie does this, and that one game on the wii had custom outfit
@@adamsfamily2233 no it doesn't, it has outfits based on other things but not an original one like the wii game or films does. Thats what I meant, sorry for the confusion. Like Oda was already involved in character design, they could've asked for new straw hats designs as well

The trailer for this game is what finally got me to watch one piece and i’m glad. It was a pretty mediocre game overall but I take what I can get and I had fun going for all the achievements.
I loved it! it wasn't perfect, but i had fun. easy plat too. would only recommend on a heavy sale though
Gum-gum ufo was key in this game lol
I just bought it and it's looks good can't wait to have fun
I dug this game. Never finished it because there's too many difficulty options haha, it's impossible on Extreme
MATTY YOU NEED TO CTACH UP! WATCHA DOIN MAAYYNNNNN!!!
We need a one piece game like sparking zero
I played on the hardest difficulty off rip and it was a lot of fun
When it comes to One Piece Pirate Warriors, heres my opinion
1&2: didnt play
3: the best, the dlc adds so much to the game and theres so much to do. Absolutely love it
4: gameplay is evolved but theres not as much content and if youre like me, you 100% the game and then when the dlc came out it was only characters, so hopping in for 5 minutes to try them was boring asf. Theyre adding some stuff now to new dlc but its not the same
I just started playing and it’s one of my favorite games. Personally I like it just as much as Baldurs gate 3
Story and look was great just combat needed a little fine tuning and more playable strawhats
it's a VERY empty open world. Look at the footage in your first minutes luffy is running across a city/village esque environment and literally nobody or anything is happening
Please play One Piece: Round the Land. As a kid i loved the game more than the one piece fighting games.
The difficulty, or lack thereof, ruined this so hard. Would have loved it if the combat wasnt so pathetically easy.
Burning Blood is my favorite OP game
One piece unlimited cruise is another great game!
If this game had more dev time 😭
One Piece isnt long enough
Its such a missed opportunity to not have custom outfits for the straw hats, like seriously every movie does this, and that one game on the wii had custom outfit
It does have custom outfits
@@adamsfamily2233 no it doesn't, it has outfits based on other things but not an original one like the wii game or films does. Thats what I meant, sorry for the confusion.
Like Oda was already involved in character design, they could've asked for new straw hats designs as well
just bought this and now i feel bad
Cool maybe that's why the pacing on snails😅 a game with a completely different storyline that's Big 🎉🤔
Honestly I liked it but I only paid like 8 dollars for it so I can see why if you paid 60 its disappointing
You should check out One Piece Burning Blood, it's not amazing but I definitely think it's undervalued
Exploring the large island was easily the best part of the game. Everything else failed.
Not really a fan of One Piece tbh, but why is that Naruto and DragonBall are the only anime games that Bandai will give an English dub to?
