ok so i have an ipad still and I’m in middle school, but this Christmas I am getting the Gabb phone 4 or Gabb phone 4 pro. yes, I still will be using my iPad for games and TH-cam, but I will bring it to school and when I walk to my friends house. It’s not my ideal phone, but I am still grateful.
Thanks for the vid. Question: Where is the activate page located? Or is it supposed to just pop up? We swapped my sons old SIM card to his new gabb 3 and we didn’t get these pages (even though it tells us it’s set up). It’s basically a paperweight now. Wish Gabb had people to help.
Another update. The spell check has been much improved by basically getting rid of most attempted corrections. However, the phone has extreme lag when bringing up the phone or messaging apps. Sometimes there is so much lag that it disconnects me before I can enter the voicemail password.
Does the Gabb Phone Plus have Samsung Video Library? You know, the purple app that allows you to watch MP4s from TH-cam and the Internet Archive? Also, does this support file transfers from a Chromebook via USB? I mean, it IS an Android, but it has very limited Wi-FI access.

Great concept but terrible execution. The spell check is horrendous turning correctly spelled words into misspelled words on a regular basis. It gets worse, though. The Gabb messenger takes 15 seconds to load a message on a regular basis. Using this phone to text is as painful as using a flip phone. 1.5 years ago the product was great, and I regularly recommended it to people: no longer. Plus, you can no longer receive text messages with links in them. Instead of just stripping out the link, the entire message is gone. Adding contacts is beyond painful. There is no way to import them, so "upgrading" a phone is an awful experience. Pro Tip: Stick to the first generation phone! Combine the lack of contact importing with being unable to receive MMS messages from people not in one's contacts, and I would never recommend someone "upgrade" their phone. Tech help is useless, and salespeople don't tell you about the changes to functionality between older and newer phones, so you get new hardware with limitations that didn't used to exist and that you didn't want, and you are locked into a crappy phone for two years. It is hard to describe how truly terrible my experience has been.
Omg so my dad told me that if I do good for this school semester, then he will get me a phone. Specifically a Gabb Phone. And I was like “but why”? And my dad said because iPhones are very expensive when all of the adults in my family have an iPhone 14 and my mom has 2 iPhone 14s. Also my dad said that that is the cheapest phone. Goofy.
Why is there no email on our gabb phone?? Useless system. If I let my child text, I'd prefer they can also email, which is what we prefer. Useless phone even for my child.
Email cannot be filtered and when you have access to add an email account, you could then add others. If you need email, look up Family Link with Android phones.
I'm 14 also. My parents were thinking about getting one. The only downside as of right now is it doesn't have spotify. That's the biggest thing for me. I'd rather have spotify then gabb music.
Please don't buy a gabb phone for your kids I have one and I get bullied for having it just get a normal phone for your kids and restrict the things you don't want PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE trust me your kids will thank you.
So far we have loved having a Gabb Phone for the kids and it hasn't been an issue. Just find friends that have a Gabb Phone too and then there will be no bullies.
My kid is 9 doesn't have a phone because they get to watching things on youtube they shouldn't be watching. You cannot control the online searching on a regular phone. I also believe in kids being kids playing outside playing with toys
I feel bad for these kids tbh. I can’t imagine the sheer and utter embarrassment of being asked if they have social media or how many contacts they have and then having to say “I have to wait until I get home for my mom/dad’s approval” or “my parents won’t let me have any social media” poor kid’s gonna get bullied and ostracized. I can see getting something like this for an 8 year old, but not really for a teen

What laptop do you have? You should just be able to plug it in and it will pop up so you can see the photos and save them.

How much space in on the phone
It has 32GB of storage but some is taken up by the software. You can then also add a Micro SD card.

Sorry for the slow reply. I'm glad to hear you understand the concept. This does require a Gabb Plan, other carrier SIM cards will not work.
