    • @NigelRudyard

      @What Car? Mazda CX-5 Turbo...Well you did ask! Honestly, I wish Suzuki had not stopped selling vehicles in the US. I imagine it had something to do with their relationship with GM. I wouldn’t mind a new Jimny as a second car though. Not a bit.

      This facelift Suzuki Vitara is indeed the best looking small SUV, IMO. Hence, I bought one last month, same trim same engine as in the video, in black. Because it's a true masculine small SUV, it is smart, not just a formless stupid urban crossover. Plus, it's reliable, the price is ok, no rip-off.

    • @Hamachingo
      @Hamachingo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nortonchow3286 mostly sound deadening really. With hard plastic, especially under the windscreen, soundwaves just bounce back and forth between surfaces. With soft material, it absorbs the sound so the cabin has less road noise and the sound system sounds way better as well. All with no extra weight. I'm actually considering swapping out the hard plastic dashboard on my 2017 Vitara with the new soft-touch one, fitting seems to be identical.

      TH-cam attracts the low intelligent, lower classes. Their opinions are not to be taken seriously. Most people who leave nasty comments on TH-cam are probably angry and bitter, jealous individuals. Makes them feel like they have achieved something in their sad little world by trying to get a reaction. In reality the clever folk amongst us will simply ignore it. Its a shame TH-cam allow any comments at all. It would make it a far more pleasant experience.

      I agree. The same unit is in my Swift Sport. Just slide finger up and down to quickly change volume. Also, the responsiveness of the unit was much improved after a software update. That said, I pretty much use Android Auto exclusively. When used in that way, I have no issues whatsoever with it.

    • @Hamachingo
      @Hamachingo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Lavalambtron you can still get the 1.4 turbo, the S just had harder suspension which made the whole thing quite uncomfortable. There is a mild hybrid version that fills in the turbo lag too (haven't tried that one) but it should make the thing more lively.

    Every single review I've seen for this car, the reviewer complains about the touch screen system, we get it, it's dated, but it's easy enough to replace and at least it has Apple Car Play and Android Auto. It took Toyota years longer than everyone else and only then reluctantly to introduce these two into their systems. Not to mention complaining about the screen having no physical buttons and dials is stupid, when all of those controls are on the steering wheel, you shouldn't be fiddling with buttons and dials on a screen when driving anyway.

  • @SlickMotoMike

Because that's what the boot if for lol and who needs a touch screen why do cars have these stupid touch screens it's ridiculous no wonder why people are always in the wrong lane and stuff cause they to busy faffing around with that. How can one compare a Vitara AllGrip having all-wheel drive to a Seat Arona and Renault Captur only available with front-wheel drive?
    The SEAT Arona is an Ibiza, the Renault Captur a Clio, just high-leg adaptations to mimic SUV character. Same goes for Ford's crossover version of the Fiesta - the EcoSport.
    The Vitara is a stand-alone development and has nothing in common with a Swift. And every generation of this model has been capable to go off road.
    The bottom line is simple. Urban hipsters buy a real city crossover like the Arona or Captur to follow the marketing strategies of the mainstream. Pragmatic people looking for a versatile car buy the Vitara or another true compact SUV.

      As a owner of Vitara with the two year experience in driving this car I can easily recommend this amazing SUV to anyone! This is amazing car in so many ways - from spacious interior, great design, efficient engine with lower fuel consumption, very generous equipment, affordable prices... And also it is very important to know that Suzuki produces one of the world's most reliable cars with very low percentage of failures...

    I had to reject my new 2019 1.0 Boosterjet SZT after 25 days due to the doors not opening (using the remote) and then the car wouldn’t start. The day after I picked it up I had to call The AA out, this happened 17 times in total (the AA man showed me a trick to get the car started).The engine cut out 3 times when I was on the road. It’s replacement was ok for 2 months then the driver’s door check strap broke causing the window not to fully open !

    Purchased a top spec model in January 2019. The 1.4l Boosterjet version with auto transmission. Hands down the worst new car I have ever owned. The build quality is atrocious for the price point. Have been to the service center on multiple occasions. Will sell it for a big loss before the factory warranty expires. The only redeeming feature is the engine. Definitely do not recommend this lemon.
