That's right, AN-2 accent is on a slower side, especially when you have 15 skydiveris onboard, about 100 meters per minute; 1 kilometer per 10 minutes, 3 kilometers in half-hour. And it's good when the drop zone has an intermediate stop for hop-ant-pop at 1,5km. If you good at packing, you can jump from 1,5km, land and pack and be ready for the next accent by the time when AN-2 returns back after accent to 3km.
I don't understand why did instructor just throw you out like you were jumping with round canopy in the army. It makes no sense. They should instruct you how to jump into the relative wind.

I don’t understand…..making a sport jump using Airborne exit technique??!! How about exiting sideways, facing the relative wind and doing a basic arched body position?
everybody was ordered to stay on the aircraft while undergoing a chute and mental evaluation. plane did not pass inspection for flight neither were their addequate parachutes however that was known before takeoff during the video demonstration

I've done 307 jumps already, 2nd and 4th out of them were static line. I enjoyed them a lot. That's something, I guess, to be done in the beginning of one's skydiving career.

quite risky method of the first jump. Many DZ's don't practice it due to this. There are few possible serious problems. Even in the case of "simple" malfunction like f.e. linetwists- non experienced person can easily get problems with cutaway , nothing to say about possible "serious" malfunctions caused f.e. by the static line itself.
Many years ago, there was a small DZ in Hebron, Illinois that had a AN-2. If you were going to full altitude, it was wise to bring a lunch.

Parabéns as novas "águias". Desejo que estejam bem e ainda no esporte. 👏🏼

Takes courage to jump out of a plane I have done 8 parachute Jumps☺
True, it really takes courage, at least for the first 30-50 jumps, later its ok
Takes even more to back out 😂😂
Thankyou Denis
Very Nice airplane, isn't a normal skydive plane. I would love jump from that!!
It's Russian AN-2. It's a typical skydiving plane in Eastern Europe 🙂
@@denispoloudin5652 didn't knew. What awesome is jump from a post ww2 plane !!!

Very nice.
Why no reserve? Also what was the height

1000 m

I had no idea civilian static line jumps were still conducted…I thought AFF was now standard
For those who wish to jump once per year, static line is the answer :-)
@@denispoloudin5652Why is that?
In my city training goes with static line but we all jump very often
@@Igor-my6ml In Vilnius, we have static line jumps only on one load on Sundays. If you wish to jump more - AFF is the way to go.
i think they all got linetwists lol
I didn't 😁
У вас ребята инструкторов нет??? Почему они ноги не поджимают ???
Это перворазники. Солдатиком должны выскакивать
I have done 512 jumps, not a single static line... :(
