In this video we talk about the beginning basics of the new extraction shooter "Hawked". Hawked is a lot like Apex Legends mixed with The Hunt Showdown and Fortnite with a more edgy and teenage feel to it... but it has already proven to be a standalone game even though it is still in the Beta phase. Hawked has already become one of my favorite games to play and because of that, I decided to share all the things I learned about the game.

I'm trying to figure out why the enemy only took shield damage in my last game.

Not sure. Could depend on many things like the weapon you used, where you aimed, and how far you were. Also the items or trinkets the enemy has would affect that too. I think the Mask does a good job at protecting health.

How do you cancel the fall stun?

Hi, I’m thinking of doing a more in-depth video to show it in the future.
So far there are 3 ways - from 1-3 the first one I find is the best to save stamina and prevent the stun. (This is based off the beta version of the game. I haven’t played the official release yet)
1. Melee attack before hitting the ground, this does the jump melee animation.
2. Roll off the edge, this helps preserve some momentum.
3. Roll before hitting the ground, this prevents the stun but costs more stamina and slows down your run by a bit.

Thank you, it was hard trying to condense every little thing that I could find about the game before the beta phase ended. I wanted to make sure I was one of the first people to cover it all. But the rush job brought down quality of the videos.
