Thank you for the shout out 💖💖💖 I am so excited for this pet! Mine came in the mail earlier this week, but I haven’t opened it yet. When I was little (maybe 5 years old?), a local artist put a Nessie sculpture in a pond near our house... from there, I became obsessed with Nessie 😂 I still love Nessie, so I’m excited to have a Nessie virtual pet. I know my mom took my picture with the sculpture; I was hoping to show it in my let’s play video, but I can’t find it 🙁
I love October within this community and your videos have been so much fun I couldn't help but mention them! Omg that story of the Nessie statue is so cute! Did you get a chance to start yours? I have been running mine ever since I made this video but I haven't quite had enough time to figure out the mini game in order to catch Nessie. Big Foot does a cute animation trying to catch it throughout the day but it never gets it. I do love the way this one is programmed.
Very cool. If I had one, I would use the activity as reminders for my own actions. Like if there was a reward, I'd like to do some quick-sketches or creative writing. If sick, going for a long walk. ...etc.
I hadn't looked up really any info on this Gigapet yet, it looks great! Hopefully it will come to Amazon Canada soon, I'll definitely grab one when it does. I don't really want to spend an extra $10 on shipping from Amazon US. Great video, thanks Jill!

I don't blame you for not wanting to spend the extra $10! Shipping costs so much these days. Once you can get it, it's definitely worth adding to the collection. It's very fun!
@@JillGrygas They have some of the Giga Pets but I had to get the Pixie via Amazon US, I suspect the same might be true for the Cryptids. I did get the frog one (which I really enjoyed) off Amazon Canada though! I may splurge and get the Cryptids, I am so into fall and anything spooky so it's really calling to me.
Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow. I’m late to the game with this one but I’m soooo excited!!! I was trying to decide between this and the bit bunny but this one won out because… moth man.

It’s awesome, but I got a low battery warning, that persisted, but then vanished, and I got Nessie, but only 1 game is available to play so far instead of 2 like with Bigfoot. Not sure that’s normal! 🤷🏼♀️ But other than that I love it, I just hope it behaves and doesn’t have some weird fault!
@@doohickyqueen I hear that some people get unlucky with Giga Pets and they get a low battery warning shortly after purchase. A new battery should help! As for Nessie, I wonder if it will have 2 games as an adult. It should evolve in a few days! I finally caught mine and I'm just waiting for it to evolve too :)

They are running out of original giga pets to make Collector's Editions of, so hopefully micro-chimp is one of them!!

Hi, I hope you see this. May I know the size of the Giga Pet screen? I'm looking to get a screen protector and need to know if it's the same size as a Tamagotchi Uni?or Pix? or?
I thought I was crazy - mine didn't come with the instruction booklet! Thanks for sharing! Sidenote: I noticed my screen and the little landscape background picture are tilted and not properly aligned. Did you notice that on yours too?
Did you look for the instructions in the slot between the cardboard and the box? I haven't noticed the landscape background picture on mine. I'll have to look closer!
@@JillGrygas I opened him up and looked at him and promptly panicked and put him back and he is safe right by my side. This gives me the boost to go for it though. I'll start him tonight. Since my nights are my days. Are you still enjoying yours? I got frustrated by the frogs games so I think this is my worry for this guy. That it will just be too confusing.

Still having trouble getting Nessie, I understand have to follow the arrows but keep on failing
I haven't had a chance to try to learn the mini game, but when I do I'll film it so I can show you show it works! I still only have Big Foot so far.

Your boxes didn't have instructions? They are kind of hidden in this like little side pocket in the box.
