@HayonD There's a comic artist that has a comic about a blind girl who has a very shitty life. People pay him for her to get something good, then he goes behind their back and does something worse. She's heavily bullied, has abusive parents, and no one, in the world the artist made for her, loves her.
Yeah, I really despise the whole concept of that character because the creator uses her to guilt people into sympathizing and pitying her which gets likes and money, it's almost as bad as those creators on TH-cam who put animals in danger just so they can film themselves "rescuing" the animals for views 😒 I know she's a fictional character, but it's psychologically manipulating people in the audience which is the really messed up part about it all.

For anyone who liked this, I would definitely recommend Re:Creators. It has some of the same themes but takes them in a different direction. Really interesting.
I like the aspect that we're seeing her world thru the pages while she's seeing our world thru the replies. (Example: she has no clue what Corona is, cuz the author wrote the world without Corona existing) And not only that, the replies are actively trying to help her. But, it falls short cuz whenever she tries to find in ending, the author is already ahead cuz they're writing the story. No matter what she says or thinks, the author lets her do whatever because it extends the story. She can't even pull a Deadpool. Cuz she's witnessing the comic the next day without knowing where the frames will be placed. Deadpool has full knowledge where the frames are, and that he's being read/watched and has fun with it. But, that's due to him already being crazy. Even the saying of "the only way to win is not to play" can't help her. Doing nothing is doing something for the author. She could play a game of hangman, but what's stopping the author from continuing into her afterlife? Or creating a plot twist of her surviving? But, then there's the aspect of there is no author and some mysterious entity messing with her by creating a Twitter account and… something iunno I ran outta steam for this thought.

Uploading her memory into such type harware, adapting firmware, real time compliant software, a reactive nervous system and senses, a projector sandbox of a chatter brain own private server to keep her memories emulated into such "brain", at that point a whole human would be practically emulated to life, given it still has the consciousness of the original, its no different from having a limb transplanted to another... in this case, "her" as a whole. It's weird. But damn. Probably what the Toy Story toys felt when they became self conscious that they were toys the first time and not the characters they are in fiction they "remember" they were part of by simply being concepts. What an awesome comic idea. This is an insane idea and I love it. And you two did you very best dubbing it! Great job, both to the original artist for making it, and you guys for finding this comic online and dubbing it!
Cursed part about this is this could just be us. We can't tell if our memories were real or fake, we have no way of telling it. And also, we just appear out of nowhere in our life, we are concious of ourselves out of no where. This is grimly looking like precisely the same as the comic.
It's always been this way. You can never know if the information you're receiving is controlled by a select minority of people, if aliens have taken over the world, if you're the only one who is actually conscious and capable of thought, if your life is a futuristic simulation and you can exist outside it, and maybe even had a past beyond the simulation (without any memories of it), or if you were created in the simulation with everyone else. Neither can you ever know if your life is simply a story, a novel, a book, a film, a cartoon/manga, an anime/TV show, an ARG, a reflection of your real self in someone else's memories (i.e. the "you" now is based on someone else's memories) or just a character that someone else spawned in by imagining your existence, whether in a dream or daydream. Nor do you know if you are a Boltzmann Brain, fated to end one day out of nowhere, or if you are actually a brain in a lab, with fake sensory inputs being provided by a mysterious being, or any other person/entity that could have an interest in doing so. The world could have been made last Thursday. Your life on Earth might actually be a simulation made in the depths of hell (yes, this is for religious people), and you don't know it (because your memories were wiped). This could be a world where people vanish from existence (in the full sense of the word: particles, memories, effect on the world) on a daily basis, and you wouldn't know. The universe might simply be fake, and is simply a projection of 3D reality on the surface of a black hole (theories like this actually exist). Or a supernatural being from any of the Abrahamic faiths or the Norse, Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Mayan, Hindu, Buddhist, Celtic, African (any mythology under this classification, excluding Egyptian), native American (North and South, excluding Mayan), Oceanic mythologies and/or any other unincluded mythologies may have put you into a dream state where your current life is fake and may or may not reflect aspects from your previous life or someone else's life. You don't know if everything is real. Or if you (or more specifically, your mind) are the only person who is real (solipsism). Or if nothing is real (nihilism). You don't know if I am real, sentient and sapient (from your perspective), nor do I know if you are real, sentient and sapient (from my perspective). It is nearly impossible to know. Only in the slight off-chance when our "reality" cracks and exposes itself will you know. Maybe someone involved in the creation/manipulation of the world you are currently living in will inform you. You'll never know. So why worry? It's the same either way. The same existentialism as the fear that your world will end the next second, or that our world will most likely meet an inevitable end someday, whether it be by the Big Crunch, the Big Rip, heat death of the universe, Judgement Day, Ragnarok and other similar universe-ending events, or if the world dies from climate change, pandemics, meteors, nuclear war, solar flares and other societal collapses. Maybe the sun will explode, or the Earth burns up from the Sun's Red Giant phase. Maybe black holes will spawn into existence, ready to devour all of existence. Or the laws of our current reality are too unstable and collapse into a new normal, and becomes a world impossible to sustain life. Heck, you don't know if the world has magic, if there's no demons beneath waiting to be summoned, or deities beyond the sky waiting to wage war upon the earth. Either way, the same existential dread can't be changed. Nor will it be likely to ever change. Worrying is pointless when it comes to existential dread, or global horrors hidden beneath the depths. Fretting about predictions, conspiracy theories and inevitable happenstance is simply a path to anxiety, mental health issues and a stress-induced demise. If ever you find that society is being manipulated by AI or aliens or hidden civilizations, that conspiracy theories are in fact truth, that reality is a lie in more ways than one, or that the world is so messed up that you can only trust your mind... If ever you discover true, ultimate and all-consuming darkness beneath the surface of your world, then fight. Fight for your liberty, for your freedom, for your rights. Fight for the light. But before that happens - if that ever happens - don't worry. Focus on the starker issues of life, the very real dangers that you can sense, the perils of modern society. Focus on the tangible, known and truly scary existential threats that are here and now. The ones you know can hurt you. The ones that matter to your survival, your existence, your life. And if you believe somewhere that there is some grand, hidden secret, then search for it in your spare time. Don't obsess over it, don't be consumed by your search for the truth, unless you meet the unlikely scenario where you are almost certain that there is a dark conspiracy or truth to be discovered that threatens civilization or Earth or the universe (...and so on and so forth). Who knows what is out there? What is waiting to be discovered? What is better exposed for the betterment and liberation of mankind, or what is better left untouched for our existence? One day, something may happen. One day, ugly realities may come to light. But that place isn't here, and that time isn't now. So don't worry. (note: rant over. please don't view my rant as condescending, as something about your comment just resonated with me and some long-held thoughts, and I just thought it apt to respond, because I have thought about this so many times as well)
The world could have been created last Thursday, and it’s basically impossible to refute such a theory. But why argue against things that can’t be contested, contest the things that can.
I read a manga before, where it's about a girl with a deadly disease, and while she's going about her day in High school, she realizes that she's in a manga. Thing is though, just cause she knows, doesn't mean she can change the outcome of the manga, everybody still has to act and do what the characters in the manga do. So despite the fact that she has some BS disease that isn't explained at all, I think this might be a nod to how in some manga characters will go "They're sick" But never explain what is wrong or why they're actually dying. But she still has to watch the boy she has a crush on date some other girl, despite him learning it's a comic, and so on. I always thought this was a cool idea. Imagine a horror story maybe, where there is a Princess, loves doing princess things. Happy to get married to some random hero from the other world, and have lots of kids. But in actuality, she's a giant tomboy. Loves sports, prefers short hair, loves hanging out with the knights and other guys and having fun, but no matter what, she is forced through one way. She cuts her hair and dyes it a horrid looking green? Grows out to her butt and is platinum blonde soon after. She in the middle of a horse race? Well next moment she's waving off the hero as he goes and beats the demon whatever. She goes on a murdering rampage, destroying the city and opening the walls to allow the demons in? Well next scene she's having diner. No matter what she does, she is forced to go along with the cliché. Better yet, is if the hero, was granted a wish, and wished to live the typical fantasy trope. Oh my god that's perfect! I can see it. Story starts off with some cliché of teenage boy dying from X. God is there, but isn't the god commonly depicted. but more like a " Tell me wish, grant wish, be gone" Doesn't really want to deal with anything. So the boy asks for the common fantasy, he get's the princess, get's the wood elf Tsundere, and so on. Everyone greats him and loves him. But there's a problem. The Princess was never affected by god's power, maybe it's cause she's a saint or something, so is naturally immune. But the Princess doesn't get this, she known as the Warrior Princess. Most people have a general disliking to the Warrior Princess. Maybe it's cause she goes against tradition, or maybe it's cause she did something to a noble as a kid or something like that, she is seen as ruthless, and coldhearted. She doesn't care. She is a delinquent. Keeps hair short for battle, has refused to even humor her father and nobles in finding a husband. Only reason she can act as she does, is cause of the title of saint. But then one day, as she's battling the demon horde or insurgents. Right as she's about to kill, and be killed by a demon general. She is suddenly back in a palace close to the frontlines of the armies. As she starts to get up, she stumbles and falls over, then she realizes, that she has super long hair now, and she tries to stand she struggles, that's when she realizes she's in a nightgown that you'd expect on other noble ladies, and then as she comes across to the mirror, that's when it hits her, gone are the scars of her face, gone are the wounds she has obtained over time. Maybe she had been missing an arm or a leg, well now suddenly it's back. But what hits her as the worse, is that all of her muscles are gone, now standing in front of a mirror or so, is a dainty meek Princess. That's when an alarmed Princess aid see's her and rushes over. Thinking that the princess is sick once again, somethinh that rarely if ever happened to the Warrior Princess. Despite her yelling and commands, everyone thinks the Princess is terribly ill this day. Hence why she is acting odd. The maids that would never even dream of disobeying before, are now being assertive in helping her. She tries giving commands to the Knights stationed at the palace, but none of them listen. She's then told that she will be departing soon, that the frontlines of the armies are collapsing and demons or insurgents can be at the palace any day now. As she tries to put up a fight and stay, she is carried off, by a knight she knew well as the Warrior Princess, was a well known friend and person she didn't mind going into battle with, now he is treating her as a little kid. As he puts her in the carriage, saying along the lines of " Was nice of you to come visit and treat the wounded, raise the morale, but there is only so much you can do, we'll stay behind as you go to the capital" No matter what she does, nobody knows what she is talking about. Past events have changed, she's also never even been to a battlefield before, let alone command an army. She tried a coupe of times as a kid, but would fall terribly sick for weeks. She learned healing magic, and studied theology. That's when she learns that a hero has been brought to the world. Was found in some random village. But she doesn't care about this, she rushes straight to her father, but as soon as she enters, she can immediately sense something wrong. The hero is over there talking to the father and some other people, but suddenly she starts moving when she never wanted to, and starts talking in a cute and friendly voice. Turns out, whenever the hero is around, she must act a certain way. Maybe latter on she finds she can bring a limited amount of people back to their original selves. She does it to the wood elf he has been having sexy time with. The Elf wakes up in horror to realize what's happening, and only she and the Princess know about it. That's the thing to, is that under the guise of a typical fantasy land, the Princes, elf, and whoever else will sleep with the hero. So I imagine a story of the group of hero's going throughout the world, and doing typical stuff, meanwhile whenever they can, the Princess and Elf will hide away so they can be their actual selves. But it turns out there is one other person who knows of what's happening. The Demon King. One day his army is struggling to advance at all, the reliable and steadfast knight known as the Warrior princess has been able to hold out against his armies, finally he, and his closest advisers set a trap, much to the dismay, the trap didn't go perfect, and many generals and other higher end demons die, but they're just about to kill off the Warrior Princess when one of the generals sacrificed himself. But then everything changed, all of a sudden he is in a castle that he's never been in, and now all of a sudden he is now a she. Because when the kid said he wanted the typical fantasy land, implying he wants to be able to sleep with whatever and so on. So you eventually get a weird alliance where the Princess and whoever else she can save, are now allied with the Demon Queen(?) In their absolute hatred for the "Hero" There's no way for the hero to ever find out either. But there is a twist. The Demon king is the only one able to act like themselves. So whenever the Demon king interacts with the party, he'll even try to tell the hero, but the Princess and rest of the party are quick to deny anything like that and start fighting the Demon king. So the Princess and party have to sneak out and interact with the Demon king. In a weird way, forming an alliance against the hero. I imagine there be a bit of horror to it some more. Besides just sleeping with the hero. The elf ends up pregnant. So she eventually leaves the party to have the baby, but just hangs out with the demon king, and has the baby there. I like to think that the first arc or so ends with the Princess heroically sacrificing herself, to become the demon kings wife. Because the dumbass hero got caught in a trap, and is about to die. But because the forced acting by the rest of the party, they can't just let it happen. So the princess in a weird way comes up with a solution to go against the programing, but also go along with it. She " Sacrifices" herself to be the wife of the demon king. The hero is distraught, and vows revenge, while everyone thinks it's some horrid experience. The Princess and so on are super happy to get away from the hero. Being able to live as they want in the castle. In the end, I imagine the Princess and whoever else came to the castle, get "corrupted" they turn slightly into demons. But are able to use this as a way to break the programing. And be able to do and say what they want in front of the hero, who of course wouldn't just let them be taken away. Maybe they trap the hero somewhere, put him in a giant sleep. But in the end, humans and demons for the first time ever are united. More and more people are able to revert to themselves. The demon king (still a she) and the Princess actually get married, and slowly but surely the Warrior Princess is able to be reborn once again through the princess's hard work and dedication. But still the curse lingers, and is always keeping the "pretty princess" look. Long hair and scarless remains. So in a weird way, the king and nobles get their wish, and the Warrior princess marries and has kids. But by the demon kind and ending the weird demon war thing. Everyone vowing hatred and disdain for the Hero and all who come. I like to imagine a little monument, where you can visit the hero who is asleep, and spit, throw garbage and whatever else you want at him. He's asleep, he doesn't know. Also wow I typed a ton for a stupid youtube comment that was meant to be like a paragraph at most...

Wow. Just wow. This is an amazingly imaginative story. For a one-off, short manga, the creator put a lot of heart, thought and creativity into it. You can feel the genuine emotion as Yuina goes through this surreal situation of somebody turning her private life into a public comic book. How would you react if something like this happened to you? Probably the same way she does. Plus, the meta levels are turned up to an 11. I won’t spoil too much, but everything from the comments on her story, to how the author influences her life, to how she discovers the truth of her existence feels so real. It brings this fictional character to life in a way that makes us care for her well-being. That takes a lot of talent to do right. Somebody, somewhere needs to take notice of this story and adapt it somehow. I could definitely see it working as a TV series or movie.
I wonder if it could be said that this is a consequence of characters not being fully fleshed out? Like, the author/artist may not see any more use for them, but they live on in the readers, who love them despite them not being fully realized...? Either way, I really like it! Just enough existential dread, with a satisfying happy ending
I definitely would like to see more animes and mangas having these stories. Especially a variety of these stories having characters that are in isekais, mecha, sci-go psychological, horror, fantasy adventure, and death games etc. Especially when the villain characters realize their world is of fictional.
1:50 "I need to put an end to this somehow." It's called calling the police. Someone putting up a comic about your life without your permission, sounds like stalking to me. Pluse you have evidence. Failing that you own the rights to your own image, if you don't have the money for a lawyer you could use free legal software to send a cease and desist letter to the host of the webcomic. Even if whatever is doing it won't stop, you can stop it from being hosted online. (no one ever calls the cops!)
@@theconman6505 I did not, I'm just pointing out flaws in logic. That is one of my pet peeves. Yes in her situation sure, but if you think a stalker is writing about you. Your first thought should be, they are good at "cold reading techniques" not "there is something supernatural happening".
It reminds me of a conversation between the two main characters in Shakugan no Shana. One of the characters is slowly fading from existence, the other one points it out in a matter-of-fact manner. "But you will remember me, right?" "Yes" "Then that's enough"
The manga's artist really ought to be proud of themselves for applying meta in a manner that actually enhances the experience rather than exist purely for entertainment purposes. I had to take pause for a moment and examine myself before I initially posted this comment. I'm literally doing what the commenters on Not Twitter were doing. By the manga's own logic, I'm causing her some amount of misery just by consuming this. I love how for a fleeting moment I actually felt like turning off the video just to prove a point. Of course that's silly, it IS just a piece of fiction after all. But the fact that I felt it for even a split second impressed me.
This is framed as a happy ending. But in F's paradise, all the popular villains whose roles have ended would also be there. So Emperor Palpatine, Sauron, Light Yagami, and The bad guys from the Ultima series would all be there. So this can't be a safe place for a normal teen aged girl. Anyone at the power level of a normal human would not stand a chance in that place.
@@OriginalUnjustifier That makes sense. But even then, getting stabbed, shot, or otherwise killed violently would still hurt. Plus, it would still interrupt whatever it was that you were up to. So isn't that still really disappointing?
@Gregina Bogosian Probably, but randomly mercing every unfortunate soul who happens to wander by would probably get old after the hundredth, thousandth, or millionth time, and eventually chill out. Or they're kept under control by every OP hero ever created.

*cut to the blind girl comics*
😡
Wut
I will slash Popopoka like fruit ninja
@HayonD
There's a comic artist that has a comic about a blind girl who has a very shitty life. People pay him for her to get something good, then he goes behind their back and does something worse. She's heavily bullied, has abusive parents, and no one, in the world the artist made for her, loves her.
Yeah, I really despise the whole concept of that character because the creator uses her to guilt people into sympathizing and pitying her which gets likes and money, it's almost as bad as those creators on TH-cam who put animals in danger just so they can film themselves "rescuing" the animals for views 😒
I know she's a fictional character, but it's psychologically manipulating people in the audience which is the really messed up part about it all.
She in a Truman show type of situation where the person know the reality is false but still can't see outside it fully
Stranger than fiction??
That's probably the worse case scenario, being trapped in an essentially foreign world while knowing full well that it is so, and having no way out
"Remember kid, heros get remembered, but legends, never die."
After seeing the trailer, I didn't expect it to be so soon
Me neither. Glad I got to see it
and so dark too
So those replies in the comic were real life people's tweets? Wow. That's a clever idea.
Some web comic (not manga) authors make it big by interacting with their fans, like ShenaniganShen and Sr.Grafo
This is how you get entities from the RE:CREATORS anime. A entity that is unbound by fiction just because enough people want them to exist.
Incluse me
This is like a game I'm going to spoil (it's a horror Game)
Who's Lila? Lila is the mystery of who Lila is, Only as real as the memory of those who know of Lila.
Also what saved the world in certain 2d puzzle rpg where main charecter loves pancakes and shares the laitmotif of both Dark souls III AND the myth of prometheus
If you know you know.
For anyone who liked this, I would definitely recommend Re:Creators. It has some of the same themes but takes them in a different direction. Really interesting.
I like the aspect that we're seeing her world thru the pages while she's seeing our world thru the replies. (Example: she has no clue what Corona is, cuz the author wrote the world without Corona existing)
And not only that, the replies are actively trying to help her.
If she's trapped in a oneshot...that ain't good
Honestly would love to see the creator make a continuation series for this character.
Yeah that'd be cool, but on the other hand, it's best to just let Satou-san have her peace.

Also give that technology that SAO had of AI NPC entities.
And create their bodies and let them move around.
@@assaulthetz SAO's version is pretty much a downgrade. A cybernetic prosthetic body would do fine. And how fiction puts it, Androids ger too artificially organic, a perfect prosthetic body that wouldn't be different from a natural human body in terms of functional input and only maintaince check up every 10 years or whenever there's damage or alterations, to the point she forgets that she was once a "concept" and creation and being an "idea" such as her past existence as a character, but one that escaped such literal reality and started clinging to reality itself by taking full advange of her "logic" as a being able to adapt few steps in from becoming again an "idea" as character elsewhere; like being a character in a game, well yes... like SAO uploaded elsewhere, but instead, emulated her consciousness and memories in a body, still remembering everything before it, breaking her logical continuity as being, and being able to... exist again. It's weird. But damn.
Probably what the Toy Story toys felt when they became self conscious that they were toys the first time and not the characters they are in fiction they "remember" they were part of by simply being concepts.
Yuina already felt all the dread being an "idea". Honestly, if such reality would start breaking apart around all of us, we would start trying break the 4th wall or cause similar ideas of a "paradox" by challenging the logic of the context we are all in, just like Yuina tried and her then lost friends attempted as well by realizing their situation.

Honestly never expected The Truman Show to pop up, but I’m pretty happy it did.
this actually made me cry
As he puts her in the carriage, saying along the lines of " Was nice of you to come visit and treat the wounded, raise the morale, but there is only so much you can do, we'll stay behind as you go to the capital"
No matter what she does, nobody knows what she is talking about.

Wow. Here I thought this was going to be a funny haha one-shot... But I always thought of something like this. Breaking 4th wall or something like that
The manga's artist really ought to be proud of themselves for applying meta in a manner that actually enhances the experience rather than exist purely for entertainment purposes.
But the fact that I felt it for even a split second impressed me.
this is one of the things in my life that can make me say
*god D A N G*
like that one meme
This is framed as a happy ending. But in F's paradise, all the popular villains whose roles have ended would also be there. So Emperor Palpatine, Sauron, Light Yagami, and The bad guys from the Ultima series would all be there. So this can't be a safe place for a normal teen aged girl. Anyone at the power level of a normal human would not stand a chance in that place.
But then they'd just poof right back into F's paradise. I mean, where else are they gonna go, Detroit?
@@OriginalUnjustifier That makes sense. But even then, getting stabbed, shot, or otherwise killed violently would still hurt. Plus, it would still interrupt whatever it was that you were up to. So isn't that still really disappointing?
@Gregina Bogosian Probably, but randomly mercing every unfortunate soul who happens to wander by would probably get old after the hundredth, thousandth, or millionth time, and eventually chill out. Or they're kept under control by every OP hero ever created.
@@OriginalUnjustifier Or, the OP villains and OP heroes are constantly fighting each other either out of their own convictions or out of boredom and civilians get caught in the cross fire all the time, like in super hero magazines.
@Gregina Bogosian Alright, time for you to write this story now.
I am sad she left the phone.
You know when i was little i made some sort of great beyond where to put old ocs that i didn't want to write anymore, except that i was edgy as fuck when i made it and it's more like some type of hell where they would kill, torture and rip apart each other
her phone went off at the exact same time as my alarm
5:30-5:49
Me: HELL yeah girl 👏 go get your man
5:50
Also me: why the fuck is this man wearing tartan trousers?
Remember Undertale comics with Tumblr comments inside that help the plot? This is same.
I first read Half Life is a comic, and was waiting to see when gordon comes in. Then i saw tram app on her phone and i was like OK FINALLY, here we go! Then it hit me 💀
0:38 : "someone has entered the TV"
