- PS4 Doesn't Boot Fix! This Playstation 4 Slim wouldn't boot. When powered on, the blue light would flash, and a screen would come up saying, "Checking The System Storage Status". It would not boot beyond this screen. In this video I cover the steps I took to fix it.

Hey i had a similar problem with my ps4 slim and it went to the Report issue menu so i put the ps4 in the Safe Mode menu and i select 5.Rebuild Database and it fix the problem,try this first.Hope this Helps some one

My PS4 slim does boot but I have to go through the checking system storage every time I power it on

Mine legit makes no noise and does nothing for the power and disc tray but it works by turning it on by my smart tv
I’m not sure if you can help but I been having a problem with the PS4 slim, where it tends to not show a picture after a while, and when I was trying to play a game it just didn’t wanna finish a loading screen, it was still running and showing hits but that’s it, also it couldn’t switch applications, it would just do nothing until I press the home button, so please any suggestions on what to do
It’s happening the exact same thing to me, I’ve really tried everything. And it happened after I upgraded to 8.0. It’s a bummer, but I already order the new HDD to try to solve it.

Mine only beeps when I push eject but when I hold power nothing
My blue light flashes slow, I try to put it in safe mode but it never beeps again and it powers it off

your playstation is gone man, the blue light is BLOD (blue light of death) its not going to run anymore sadly

I updated mine using my Ethernet cable and option 3 was able to escape blue light of death if anyone finds this useful

I dropped my ps4 today on accident I was cleaning

2 days ago got the code ce30391-6. Asking me to set the time and date correctly and not connecting with PSN. yesterday while playing a game the controller turned down. Get my second controller and still no recognition. Also not with cable. So started the ps4 in safety mode and choose for number 4 " initialize ps4"... Aftering the text welcome to ps4 I needed to connect the controller with the ps4.... Than happened where I was afraid off... no recognition of the controllers with usb... Controllers are recognized in safety mode, so nothing wrong with cable or controllers. So I was nog able to complete the installation. I get back into safety mode tried an update with the new firmware 9.03... PS4 didnt do anything.... After this I could not boot the ps4 anymore... Dont makes a sound after pushing the button. does not start up... When I press the disc button I hear the sound it makes usually. So the powercable is not broke... Dont know what to do anymore. Called playstation.. First thing they say is "200 euro for reperation, no matter what the issue is."..... Is there someone with any Idea what I still can try... thank you in advance...
