I lived in Douglasville. It took me 16 hrs to get home. My car had a saving grace snow button. Thank you to Douglasville DOT all roads leading to my house was graveled. DC was on point!
OMG I moved there from Florida 2 months prior and walked to work like a mile from my house each day. I didn’t know it was going to snow I bussed my ass like 8 times trying to walk back home with one of my employees. Also broke some HR policies that night with that employee 😂
Same thing happened to me when I moved to Townsville, hadn’t even finished unpacking the house as the furniture and boxes only arrived 2 weeks prior to Cyclone Yasi 2011 hitting us and everything that was unpacked I had to pack up again, because it was my first Cyclone 🌀 I didn’t know what to expect so planned for the worst. Luckily only the yard got smashed.. but what a nightmare and trying to work shift work at the same time.. my ex Narc did sweet FA to help!
Saw this clip on an article for this coming up winter weather for ATL. PSA To anyone who cares about their car: Once the brine(salt) they put down is gone plz PLZ, wash your cars undercarriage well and with COLD water (Some car wash places have undercarriage washes). Why? It's salt. #1 enemy of cars! Google salt belt car holes and you'll see where people can use their finger to make holes in their car due to salt corrosion
OK job ga dot plows but going with what 5 or 6 plows down the same roads back to back and not much salt being dropped and realy going a little too fast for salt to be put down right .Anyways e for effort .....

I live in far North Queensland Australia & I haven’t seen snow since I was in UK when I was 3. I knew Salt before they announced it! ✝️🙏🏽💗

And who woulda thunk that all these years later we found out HR actually meant Human Remains 🫤 💉💉💉⚰️🕳️🪦
Wow 2 inches? Scary. Usually it's the tractor trailers that jam the highways. They block lanes or they team up together smh its a shame
