Litti chaukha & fafda gaathiya wid sambhaara..
Idli, sambar❤
Pithla bhakari thecha and nariyal barfi
Idli chutney sambar.....amd as u said the softness of idli depends on batter n fermentation n it depends lots of conditions mostly weather...in summers u get it fermented real fast than in winters...and also we prepare the mangodi curry but rather thsn curd, we use milk
Mam are you earning
Simple, healthy and yummy dishes with lots of love and taste, Swati😊 Actually, being South Indian for soft idly, we use grinder for grinding idly/dosa batter and not mixie. Usually 4 cup idly rice and 1 cup urad dhal is perfect ratio. But, if you grind in mixie, then go for 2 cup idly rice and 1 cup urad dhal. Also, as you said, 8 hours fermentation is a must.
This is so helpful. I was also thinking for wet grinder but the weather is so good that I really dont need it at the moment I guess. Thanks for replying here. 😊
@@TalkingMomhi..for the weather of vizag..mixer is suitable fr winters but in summer the batter doesnt turnout good with mixer ...its best to use wet grinder or use ice cold water if u use mixer

Disagree with abv comment
Live in bangalore
Grind the batter in mixie
(5 heaped or 7 flat cups of rice +1 cup urad dal +1tsp methi seeds optional) soaked over night + 1 cup cooked rice kept in 1 cup water in fridge overnight (cold helps with the heat generated in mixie while grinding) + 1 cup left over batter(optional, ferments in 4 hour...over flowing type for bangalore weather!)
Idli batter can be used for uthapam, kuzhi paniyarams and mini idlis... Loads of love to you dear swati, love your energy, enthusiasm and zeal... Keep them coming... Shubha Navarathri to you

Hello mam.. We use 1 cup urad dal + 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and 4 cups of idli rice.. It comes out well.. We use a wet grinder!
Thanks for sharing
This is another receipe with 10 different methods. I finally settled for 3 cups of rice with one cup of Urad dal and 1 tsp of fenugreek. I prefer Pesarat with Allam chutney. I used tomatoes instead of tamarind and I love the rich taste with ginger.
I just love watching your videos again and again ❤ such genuine effort you put into everything, the ideas, the planning, the execution of be it stock, cleaning, cooking, organising, making us feel like pre prepared for the kind of kitchen management skill, love from a telugu state 😊

Hope you enjoy ❤️😊
Hi swati, Got a new breakfast idea from your vlog. Will try masala bati also. Most relatable is left hand cooking and writing 😊
That's great ❤️
Idli should be made the very next day after fermentation. It wont rice if you keep in fridge and use it. 1:3 ratio for crispy dosa and 1:2 for fluffy idli. Consistency in the batter is different for both. Idli should be just pour while dosa can have more water. Also the smell changes, so you can adjust timings for fermentation as climate changes
You are really a hard working mom who has a craft for putting tasting and simple food on the table. Hats off to you😊
Thanks for the tips!
So relatable your videos are😊👍👍
Hi madam. Idli batter measurement is ( idli rice 4cups and whole uraddhal 1cup). Dosa bater( ordinary sona masoori rice 3cups and whole urad dhal 1 cup). U can also do variation in dosa batter ( 3cups sonsmasoori rice:1/2cup mix of toordhal, Chana dhal and 1cup uraddhal), u can also make one batter common for idli and dosa with following measurements ( idli rice 3cups: 1cup sonamoori rice:1cup uraddhal)
Very yummy Daal Baati... 😋😋👌
Thanks for watching :)

Hi hii… in Chennai we use 4:1 ratio n it’s super soft n yum 🥰
Lovely dishes swati ❤
Thank you 😊
Nice recipes....
Thanks a lot
Try the wet grinder for best results. Also do try the idly ravva based recipe for idly. The sambar goodness is soaked up and it's heavenly. With the same batter in a deep cast iron kadai make a thick uthappam or as we call dibba rotti.. that is just heavenly
Good to know! 😊
Will try dal bati

@@TalkingMom waiting for your pre diwali blog For home decor and and festive planning. It's like a cool Breeze of wind passing by after a tired period
Hey , pls share links of some house daily wear house clothes. These look really nice.
Hii swati. Can you please share your daughter,'s full day routine on school days as well as of weekend.. It would be a great help
Now you are in telugu state, you can get good quality idly ravva. In telugu states, we dont use rice for idli, we use only idly ravva in the ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 also depending on who airy your batter is before fermenting. Grinding in wet grinder needs more ravva 3 or 4.
Thanks for the info. Will try ❤️
So yummy 😋😋 dishis ❤❤❤
Thanks for liking
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi swati..I would like to mention that your idli dosage batter will come out better if you take 3:1 ratio of rice: urad daal n add 1 teaspoon methi seeds while soaking it.
Thanks for the tip ❤️
@@TalkingMom most welcome 🤗
Your cooking ❤❤❤❤❤fav
Thnx for all the love ❤️❤️
You are my favourite ❤️ 😘 so your recipes 🎉
Aww...Thank you so much 😀
please giveinkbof your Kadai....Without handle....It's so spacious to stir and easy to clean. Most of the Kadai have handles and accumulation of grease and difficult yo clean or scrub. PLEASE GIVE LINK OF THE KADAI

Hahaha..I try my best. Thanks for watching dear :)
Hi mam pl share some navratri healthy dishes
❤❤❤
❤
Using mixie to grind Use 1:3 ratio (1 vup urad and 3 cup rice)
Sounds great!
Hi Swati, thanks for sharing the recipes I'll surely try it. I need your feedback on Apple MacBook as we are planning to buy, request your suggestion it will be really helpful in deciding. Thanx in advance ❤🙏🏻
I am watching your video in English but I have to google every word in the ingredient list to figure out what it is. Not everyone understand 10 different words for one ingredient used in India. Carom is same as Ajwain, caraway etc. Please list English words in the list. Badi is a mixture of dhals and Baati is a stuffed bread. I learned something new today. Mangodi made with moong.
Hi me and my husband will make it on Diwali with a lot of food as we will have guests this year 😅 we plan to make it undhiyu, Gujarati Dall a lot of home made sweet and snacks , mango Lassi for drink 🍹 ( I am from Poland and my husband is gujurathi properly man 😂😂)
Great 👍 have a great festive cooking dear ❤️❤️
Hiw you are manage to take so many shots from so many angels?
Do you have a videographer?
Ma'am ur videos are very good
Change the ratio 1cup urad dal with 1 cup boiled rice and 2 cups simple rice add few methi seeds also
While grinding add a cup of soaked poha
Will give u more soft idlis
Wow..thnx for messaging me here. I am glad you responded. Will surely try it once :)

Yes you are! 😊
Record the next time you make the idli dosa batter please...
Happy Navratri ❤❤❤❤
Sure 😊
Can u create a vlog showing daily routine of Dhairya??
How you able to keep him busy and do your chors ?
Hey your recipes are good . But one suggestion never mix fruit and milk. Their combination is virudhaahara to our body
1:4 ratio
Can u pls make one fully silent cooking video ?
Sure. Will try but that’s kind of contradicts my channel name 😄
Why not make regular uttapam
So ur hometown is jaipur ??? Nice...
Whrrs ur husbands hometown ?
The amt of work U do in a day.. I do in two or three days 😢
U r a super mom n a lovely lady 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
You are so kind
And pronunciation corrections
Utt-a-ppam...not Utpam
Podi(choti O)....not P-o-di (badi O)
Coz Podi with badi O means "jaa re" to a ladki 😅

Your other content is good.. but not recipe s please
Can u tell me how did u trained kid for toilet
Hi Shruti, I guided him mutiple times for around 6 months but never pushed as pushing makes it bad. Some kids take 1 year to understand the process which is very normal. Once I started getting cues from him that he understands, I started keeping him off diapers and took washroom rounds after set intervals of time. Go slow and easy, they will learn. :)
❤❤❤
😊❤️ Thanks for this love everytime :)
