The middle of the field was wide open all night I was screaming at the television you are spot on and I thought the same thing last year. He doesn’t utilize the middle of the field enough and would like to see more out of the screen passes to the RB’s H backs
It's easier for you to see and says because you're on the field and getting pressure by 280-300 pounds defender coming at you, with not enough time to go through your progression.
He started to. He's a gun slinger, he plays the majority of the time in "hero ball" mode. Once he calmed down, he started taking what the D gave him, which was the middle of the field.
Tallahassee’s DBs, were holding the WRs, all night long (No calls). Tallahassee’s O-line, also held all night long. I swear, ACC officials, are visually impaired.
The only thing I disagree with you is the crosser play. Shannon Dawson is smart. The game plan was to run the ball, especially when you got 6+ yards per carry. I believe Dawson is saving certain plays for certain games. Why show teams all your tendencies early in the season? This is a copycat league. Most of the game Restrepo was getting double coverage.
The point being, some guys are willing to take a 15-yard penalty or even the targeting for the opportunity to knock Cam out for the year. He doesn't like Cam taking that risk, and it's definitely not worth it. 🤷♂️ 🙌
He had a QB that did that and got lit up and didn't play the rest of the year. That's why he doesn't like it. Old school coach that knows that there are old school players that know their job is to knock out the QB.
It USED to be one of the most iconic rivalries. Now? Not so much. The game this year was the most boring miami/fsu game I've ever seen, by far. Both teams acted like they didn't want to be there and they weren't amped up AT ALL. It was severely disheartening smh.
Thanks, coach! As a UM fan since the 70's, I appreciate your insight.
Thank you

This is one of the best games Cam has played. He takes what the defense gave him, and he didn't force any throw.
Played smart
The refs were also quick to call offensive pass interference on Miami also...on receivers criss crossing.

That band played all night I was right next to them it was annoying
No fsu has athletes
11:50 he’s trying to bait them for a penalty

That's exactly what happened. Ruined his NFL career. 7 knee surgeries
Other teams can go man, but will they get away with grabbing and holding all day like the Noles did?

Not good when a 1-7 team dictates the flow of the games! Canes made the notes look like an amazing pass coverage & sack team
You can tell trump knows there are aliens
