I'm obsessed with this video. As an artist, personally, I was making work out of cardboard and it enabled me to free up my own creativity because the material wasn't so precious like porcelain and other clays i used to work with. I just got a job teaching prek-8 art and I want to bring the joy of cardboard and recycled materials into my classrooms. This is awesome inspiration. Thanks!
It will depend on your grade level, class period length, size of artwork, and many other components! Feel free to reach out to Renae to see what worked for her via her social platform, linked in the description box!

Do you have instructions on how to fold the explosion books? It just goes too fast for me with the black paper, lol. 😅
If you need slower instructions, you can Google "explosion books" and several tutorials pop up! Hope that helps.
What is the best type of paint to use on cardboard?
Acrylic paint works great for older students! For younger students, you may want to use tempera.
