The Schoolyard Scrapjack is actually my favorite jacket in the game, cus it’s giving me the feeling my character is a gangster or something, it’s just subjectively cool
I do admit, the smallfry gear is a little weird, but im just really surprised you put the s3 squid amiibo in F. The jacket goes with a lot more than you'd think it would, and the headgear is just really cool. The shoes are a little subpar though.
i like the splatoon 3 girl amiibo outfit. cuz it‘s based on a school delinquent. in line with the other school uniforms that female amiibo have and it‘s more chaotic. also in line with the S earring, splatoon 2 earrings and now with the chaos theme. but i get what you mean, why you don‘t really like it.
I think a really cool tier list (imo) would be ranking the lowest tier of weapons (in comp). It seems to be consistently agreed upon for which weapons are F Tier (or whatever the lowest one is) at the moment so it’d be interesting to see how each of them would rank when only put up against each other instead of the other 60+ or so weapons in the game
My favorite Amiibo Gear is the Squinja Outfit. Mainly because I love dressing up as a ninja in the game and sneakily attack opponents with my Inkbrush. The male/female masks look cool as well but the female mask is my favorite due to the fact the two protrusions resemble Giratina’s altered forms horns. Hopefully in Splatoon 4, the game has scarves so I can dress up as a certain Pokémon that most people might know and more ninja like outfits similar to Legends Arceus since Team Past won.
@@Keizer0724 the new alterna callie amiibo kind of does have a scarf on the shirt gear and I think it would fit pretty nice with the rest of the squinja outfit, so maybe it's worth buying for you?
If we were ranking based on functionality, the splatoon 2 inkling girl would especially take a huge nose dive. In the splatoon 2 days of old, you couldn't swap out the main abilities on amiibo gear, so what you saw was what you got. So the school cardigan gear set was almost never used especially the fringe loafers due to how awful the gear abilities thag they were stuck with were. As a result you hardly ever saw anyone use the gears, at best you might see the cardigan dress but that's about it. Thanks to splatoon 3's new features breaking down this barrier, the s2 inkling gear was able to thrive in splatoon 3 over it's introducrory predecessor. You can clearly tell based on the significant rise in popularity and usage of the s2 school gear in s3, even as high as competitive. The potential and appeal was there, it was simply held back by bad abilities and lack of means to remove them.
I admit that I still wear amiibo based on what ability it had at the start, so I was super pleased that Big Man's and Marina's outfits were Swim Speed for ability. Also I knew I had to get OtH's new amiibos because if they were based off of their new looks, then I HAD to get them for Marina's suit and I WAS RIGHT! And the heels are just (chef kiss) I also really like Inkling Boy 2's ninja outfit, even if I can never find gear pieces it meshes with outside of it's costume. And I adore Smallfry though can't find too many uses for it's gear. I should get more flexible with my fashion and gear stuff.
Will you do a ranking/breakdown of the brands? I just throw pieces together and would be interested in how their aesthetic design is portrayed. The big man coat is dope. High collar tops are so cool! The shoes are high top and don't look bad either.
I can’t put the original Marie amiibo in anything other than S tier personally. I’ve been wearing those Armor Boot Replicas in every outfit I’ve made in every game since I got the amiibo back in Splatoon 1, back when rerolling abilities on gear was the only way to get new sub abilities and those boots accidentally rolled into the perfect kit for me. Too much nostalgia for me not to put it in S tier 😂
my main problem the shiver, frye, and s3 marina's gear is that they lengthened the tops so awkwardly. the shirts don't fully cover the torso and are so tight that they look like they're a size too small.
I use amiibo gear for 4 of my presets Big man’s with the pilot goggles (my slosher gear) Fryes mask and socks with the new Callie shirt (Octobrush nouveau) Captain hat and poncho with new Callie’s shoes (rapid pro deco) Pearls new jacket and shoes with new Marina headphones (QR gear)
I think The octopus takes the bottom for the shittiest gear. As for the top… i dunno, the rest are fine. Its just the octopus’s gear that i think looks stupid
