    Ron calling on his vast experience and knowledge for the training regimen... "have a kickabout"

    To be fair to Steve, his wife needed to come along because
    Steve had to bring back the company car, then go home in his van.

    Fry only did this so he could get some more cash, but I think Bleasdale was out of his depth to be fair, he was unsuccesful in both other teams who are unheard of... so he's probably not good at all.

    If a Director picks the team the Manager is finished.

    Haha, no fan of Bleasdale but those two whoppers trying to twist that into gross misconduct to save a few quid 😂
    Fry saying his bollocks dropped out...rubbish, he was over the moon, you could see it in his chubby little boat.

      Totally. I reckon had he taken legal advice he’d have had an open and shut constructive dismissal case.

  • @matthewsalisbury4789
    @matthewsalisbury4789 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Tbh rather than suing Peterborough Steve could of said to Barry I can't manage the club now so Barry would take over the side for the last few games so then Steve Bleasdale would still be in a football job rather than walking out and managing crap football teams.

    • @harrydrake4173
      @harrydrake4173 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He was clearly at the end of his tether and felt let down by the players and the chairman. Bleasdale had sufficient grounds for constructive dismissal, as evinced by this documentary.

    • @johnjoe6291
      @johnjoe6291 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Bleasdale was lucky he was allowed stay in the job as long as he did. He had no idea of what he was doing and was clearly out of his depth. He is a spoofer of the highest order and it is no surprise that he went on to do nothing credible with his career after he resigned. His 'manager of the month' statement points clearly towards him being delusional.

    All about Atkinson, "look at me, I'm here, I'll save the day" just wanted to get his overbearing personality back in the game after his racist comment. Barry Fry just saw the pound notes. Undermined Bleasdale but he was a tit at the same time.

    • @tooshlong

    I hope Ron was proud of himself. This was all caused by his pure, blind desperation to get back on the telly.

    Does Ron have his own personal driver going to the training & matches? If that’s case, he’s definitely mini Lord Sugar in the making after his retirement. Because I highly doubt his pal Barry Fry is paying for the driver since all he does is complaining about money issues on running a football club.

    Unfortunately all this exposed is sadly how lower league football needs a cull. Clearly not sustainable.

      Or perhaps better.....wage caps. Clubs forced to live within their means and not from rich owners 'loans'.
      Even premier League clubs are insolvent. Football as a whole is insolvent and has been for the past 15 years.
      Then again, it's just followed how the UK has been run in the same time. The labour government started it with the high taxes, high borrowing, throwing money around like confetti and unfortunately the conservatives haven't done any different (which isn't a surprise because politicians of all colours are cut from the same cloth now).

    i dont know who that steve is, but i dont think he deserved manager of the month, it looked like he had an ok start and then it went down the pan, i dont think racist ron helped but hes desperate to get back on tv , i dont think steve has the right temprament for management anyway, hes way 2 strung out, maybe he would be better at a sunday league club as a hobby, i havent seen ron on the tv since this, he does stink of desperation on this show thou, and as for quitting then going to a lwyer, thats just skanky. if i was fry i never would have paid him a penny. if you quit a job then you cant expect a pay off for it lol

    • @Sidneyyoungblood75

      I don't disagree with your last sentence but it all depends on the terms of the contract. One never knows what's in these things.
      I'd love to see one. One would think it would be as thick as a book but it could be just filled with simple bollocks 🤷🏻‍♂️

      He was right to go to a lawyer. Having responsibilities undermined by Ron and then Fry taking team selection off him, I’d say is effectively being dismissed without compensation. He was right to lawyer up.
