You turn the knob on the radio until you come to one that displays a D next to it rather than an A. This channel has been set to digital on the radio. Analog or Digital is set in the programming of the radio. You cannot change this for a channel from the radio's face.
You can only change a frequency on that radio through software. Without software, you will use the frequencies that are preprogrammed from the dealer. You can get that software and the cable at www.rtsystemsinc.com Look for the Rugged Radios section, the mobile radios, then the M1 radio to get what you need for that particular radio.
In reguards to A & B, if I ride with a group and most of us have the same channel but a handful don’t have that channel, can I set A 1 channel for part of the group and B1 for the other guys in the group, and just flip back and forth from a and b ? Can I listen to both a and b at the same time? Thanks
Ryan, Yes, I can think of ways you can get done what you want. If you have the RT Systems programmer for that radio we can use a Scan list and Priority Channels along with Transmit Channel (Last Active) to get done what you want. I don't know exactly how this will all work together... but I have hope that we can get you working better with that radio. Give a call some time when you are at your computer with the RT Systems programmer... that's the only way this can be done. 404-806-9561
How do you change from analog to digital.

Sounds like a plan. Keeps you organized and the channels you want at your fingertips.
Yes you can. Sorry I missed your question until now. Hope you already have it going.
Where can I download that software?
Purchase the software from the RT Systems site then download from www.rtsystems.us/software with email and license key
