Nice, perfect mix of editing more fast pace, but also relaxed and not screaming in your face, music always fit the scene, and overall really well done!
I don't think ive ever seen realistic grass be used for Lego let alone minecraft but it does elevate the model to give it even more uniqueness. Adding the extra detail makes It feel way more of a premium item. Reminds me of sideshow collectibles.
Nice. 3D printing can also re-introduce some old pieces that are retired BUT have only gotten more useful, like the Maxi-Fig hands. They're really useful, especially if you're a fan of Lego Transformers.
Great video! Tip for getting the supports off the print: Put them into some hot tap water. The heat softens the small structures of the supports so you can just pull them off.
Have you considered uploading these sorts of files for your printed projects on the site? I think it would be cool to make these available as products or printable files. Also, how much larger did you scale the parts compared to the official figure?
@@TommyCBricks you know just like a few days ago I go through my subscriptions and you and I'm like yo you didn't post for 2 months, I check your Instagram, then your discord then get distracted and think that you should get a Twitter
Loved the model you ended up coming up with. 3D printing was always something I wanted to get into and merging that with Lego is a great concept! I'd love to see you make a series from this, making more 3D printed models, custom accessories or even try and make small sets. Could make a whole channels worth of content from that!
Nice work, and welcome to the resin rabbit-hole that is printing building blocks! I've been printing Cobi-compatible bricks to grow my army of Character Building Daleks for a couple of years now. Today, I printed my first 2x4 bricks covered with low-relief leaves, to make Minifig-scale hedges! With practice and patience, it is very possible to print your own, unique bricks, and keep the tolerances close enough to use with molded bricks. (Pity I missed the giveaway!! Oh well!)
As a 3D artist, having to remodel these parts seems like so much work. I do have to say though, this is a badass result. A few notes though. 1, the teeth don't really do it for me, as I can't really imagine them being on an official piece (as they'd just be WAY too small), but that's personal taste. 2, I'm not 100% sure, as I haven't used one myself, and I can't see it that well in the video, but the static grass applicator might not have worked well because you need contact with the actual piece. Looking at you using it in the video, it SEEMS like the black clip is just kinda hovering near the piece instead of making contact, which could be your problem. I think I usually see people having it attached to a paper clip or something that then gets poked onto/into (depending on the material) the piece. NOW AGAIN, could be totally wrong there since I've never used one myself, but just from other videos I've seen, that's what I've gathered. Either way though, REALLY hoping we see more of this in the future. Maybe a diorama that has more characters (though smaller to fit more into roughly the same space), but following a LEGO Theme, like Ninjago, Space, or hell, even go with something for LEGO Universe! I'm... I'm not the only one that remembers that game... right?
i'm pretty sure the grass applicator didn't work because the clamp didn't touch the glue? at least it looks like that in the short clip you put in the video
@@TommyCBricks oh okay. i wasn't aware of that. i probably thought that it had to touch the glue because basically ever crafting youtuber i saw using one of these had the clamp touch the glue in some way
Honestly, it is possible to replace Lego with home-made parts, the issue is that you would need a large team working together to do so. You'd need several modelers, testers, concept artists, and more.
Hey do you have that really huge minecraft lego set called "The Mountain" or something like that? Gosh, I'd love to see it if you did.....Oh wait, I has TH-cam....well fuuuuu
So funny thing about the minecraft tools, while exploring a local Bricks n Minifigs i was building a figure for a school project and found a minecraft pickaxe except the entire thing was clear like see-through clear. It wasnt like some paint was rubbed off of it or anything it was just straight up clear! So i guess its rare...? cause i cant find any info on it
I loved this project. It's really unique compared to your past projects and I can't wait to see what else you make.
Those custom parts look so much better than official LEGO! It's great to see more customs being made that fix LEGO's problems!
Glad you like them!
I disagree
Yeah!

Nice.

That's a great idea!
@@TommyCBricks yeah, we just need better tolerances and it could be great.
And not to mention, the classic 5x1 piece.
That skeleton is sick make more please!
You should do Minecraft Lego Warden
You showed North of the borders clay sculptures awesome
Great video! Tip for getting the supports off the print: Put them into some hot tap water. The heat softens the small structures of the supports so you can just pull them off.
Love the show off of north of the borders insane clay work! Also would be interesting to see a storm breaker from this printer!
4:45 woah! Didn't expect North of the Border here!
Yoooooo sooo coooooooool ❤❤🎉

Banging video mate! Well worth the time you put into it! Love the way that skeleton came out!

Awesome. I’ve been thinking about getting into 3d printing and this inspires me further! Tommy you are epic 👍
That looks amazing
4:44 NOOO MARIO AND LUGI!!1! 😭😭
Lego needs to hire this man.
Could you make a Tommy c brick cloud city boba fett
that was pretty cool
2:41 Ah yes, we see that the mumbo of jumbos is trying his hardest to summon grian onto the server because we should know. Mumbo is now back.
It would be cool if you made accessories for marvel figures like arms for doc octopus

Love the vid. The skeleton looks like an acher from Clash of Clans

It actually look very cool and very impressive how you made that
nice north of the border dioramas

What paint did you use for the built and can that paint be used on plastic?
You are insane! Great job! I’m looking forward to seeing what you do next!
Can you do more minifigure accessories with the 3d printer
ill stick to the statues for now but have another thing planned for the printer soon!

Where did you learn how to use Fusion 360? i can't ever find decent videos on youtube about it. but id really like to learn it!

Not gonna lie the skeleton looks like a clash of clans troop
If someone is wondering 2:40 is a clip of Mumbo from Hermitcraft. I know his chanel is in desc, I just wanted to point more specific ^^"
If I had a 3-D printer and could print custom Lego bricks, I would want custom lightsabers for the different Jedi.
AMZING
That's one menacing skeleton wouldn't want to find him in a dark cave
that pickaxe look awesome!!!
Both of the dioramas shown were from a TH-cam channel called North the border, my favorite
i love Lego,
you have to touch the glue with the black wire to use the grass applicator
Your content is just so cool bro
Not as in “oh it’s just so cool” but like there’s no other words than just cool or awesome
Did I see North Of The Border?
Your costume Lego parts look so good that if I didn’t know you made it I would think Lego made it

the static grass applicator probably as you said the grass was too long but they are amazing with smaller grass blades :)
