0:45 I can relate to development hell. My Benatar Moc has taken a while due to tricky angles (and being a Lego perfectionist). But having an accurate interior and removable escape pod is totally worth it. I love Guardians of the Galaxy so much so I had to make it perfect.

not gonna lie, you should've made the statue of liberty more complex like that of the giant sandman lego minifig, but that's also just my personal taste. Amazing build!
I've been following this project since the beginning, and seeing how amazing the final products is blows my mind! I also love the addition of figures who weren't necessarily in the scene, like Stan Lee and Deadpool.
Always thought the way lego could pull this off is by making each set come with a mini fig and part of the statue or to replicate scenes, and collecting all the sets would give some duplicates and let you have a full statue
Really amazing moc! One thing I did notice is that sandman looks a bit strange floating on the scafolding there, if you just add some sand/tan bricks spiraling up to him I think it would complete the moc so well!

I remember how big the bulge series was back then and to see it be destroyed and repurposed for this is kind of weird but almost like a weird circle of life thing. 01:11 Yes! I feel the same way! It’s why I loved it when TLG brought out the upscaled minifigure set! I’ve also done some of the mega figures using the Star Wars helmet sets! Right now I’m using the Venom head set, but combining it with an Upscaled minifigure body (rather than the mega figure type body) as I think for Venom it’s more appropriate given Venom’s size! (and upscaling say a bigfig rather than a minifigure looks weird.) Plus I have already partially Venomised one upscaled minifigure so a fully Venomised figure seemed the logical next step….in the future I plan on doing something somewhere in between initial infection and full venomisation!
