great video WBC, loved the editing in this one, it's important to note though that a lot of stuff, including that entire curved terrace was built by solar, who's helped me with so much tidying up and getting whitehall in check recently, glad we've finally connected the two big cities together here's to seeing where we can get to by christmas! 🙌
18:58 I just noticed that power pole is just like the ones you can actually see on period photographs in Japan. The amount of details is stunning, great job.
I love Matti's take on the Leuven church westwerk, how the higher we get the more the style gets late gothic/renaissance, just like it would have given the time these kind of buildings used to take to get finished. It feels more like a real historical monument and less like many neo-gothic cathedrals with a completely unified architectural style.
I don't disagree, but I think the base of the centre spire is not quite ornate enough. Looking at the actual design it looks like it becomes more ornate and crazy the further up it goes, so having the base be an almost flat slab of stone seems a bit off. Of course the hexagon shape and the flying buttresses are hard to do in minecraft and ultimately it is up to the builders themselves to decide, but that feels a bit off for me
I can never find a single builder that I consider the best in all of these, that certainly says something. Everything is so unique yet full of quality.
just want you and the rest of the build team to know that I always look to the terra 1912 server builds for inspiration, so thanks. thank you for being awesome builders and for being kind enough to share these builds in a way that is so enjoyable. keep it up.
I think you overdoing it with the subtitles, they are too large and bold to be popping in and out at random intervals. There's a place for them like when you have to spell out a name of a place but overall they can be a little distracting. Still! Another banger server update tour!
I always love the server tours, I often end up with tons of new ideas. Like the gold ore blocks being used as fallen yellow leaves or the floor patten being used with redstone. Everyone's builds are always so beautiful.
Beautifull builds!!! Also! The smallest house in Hoogedam is just 1 block thin!! There are two 2 block thin houses as well 😊😊😏 they are well hidden and often missed
Loving how Burr Street Station is coming together. Very regal. A thought did strike me though that might be worth considering for the lore: It reminds me a lot of things like the original Euston Station, or Curzon Street Station in Birmingham, or the original York Station, mostly in its relatively low Georgian style architecture. Specifically, it puts me in mind of a station that *was* grand and state of the art when it was first built in the 1840's-50's, but by the 1910's it's starting to reach its capacity limit, starting to feel a bit outdated and crowded and struggling to cope with the sheer volume of train traffic coming into Whiteburg City, but doesn't have room to expand as it's so hemmed in by the city and the rivers. Thus at some vague point in the future it might be worth considering where to put a newer, more up-to-date station similar to a Birmingham New Street or a London St. Pancras or Waterloo, or a Glasgow Central. Also, those flat slabs on the fronting that seem to change from sandstone to hardened mud are pure witchcraft. I didn't think Terra 1912 employed block mods. Of course, need we add our praise for Goblin for once more knocking it out of the park with Linford-Upon-Avon; always an inspiration, but this new Whitehall section is on another level of magnificence. Bravo, sir! Lore-wise, it kinda puts me in mind of perhaps there being a long standing jealousy or rivalry between the town fathers of Linford and those of Whiteburg, perhaps a sense of "Well, we can't beat Whiteburg for scale, but we can whip their pants for majesty and design." I do have one thought about the railway arrangements between Linford and Whiteburg: I get why they had to be that way for everything to work, but thank goodness the steam engines in Minecraft are only ornamental because I dread to think what ventilation is like in those long tunnels. Tunnels are smoky places at the best of times, but to have miles and miles of railway line entirely underground, and even worse have entire goods stations where trains will be stopped for lengthy periods or shunting cars back and forth, you'd have more than a few train crews choking from all the smoke. Might be worth planning out some ventilation shafts, perhaps doing what the London Underground did and having some fake building facades to mask open wells to let the smoke out. Also, again going back to the Lore, perhaps a side project might be the beginnings of electrification of the Burr Street-Linford Lines similar to what the Baltimore & Ohio did in 1895 through the Howard Street Tunnel or what the London Underground did starting around the 1900's on the Circle Line. Good chance to practice building some early boxcab and steeplecab electric engines in addition to the grand old steamers.
29:00 The monastery looks very familiar. I'm getting de je vu from this like I have been there irl. It's the monastery in Częstochowa, Poland called Jasna Góra or Light Hill - the most religiously important monastery in the entire country as it possesses the sacred painting of the Virgin Mary - fun fact of the day.
I thought I was finally getting a little decent at building in neoclassical and baroque styles. Then I come across this video, and by extension, this channel. These builds are amazing. I'd nearly suffered an attack of Stendhal syndrome
BTW the subtitles are a bit much. And I like having subtitles, but please make them less word by word, and more having most of the sentence at a time ❤
What’s your problem with the videos I make now? I’m guessing they aren’t for you if you are 1) asking me to replace myself in my videos with someone else 2) having me remove any essence of spontaneous thought and comment These videos have a loose script to them as I’m given words and instructions from the builders as what to show and what they are thinking in the process. I’m then walking around looking at what’s what. Not something that can or needs to be scripted
Beautiful builds as always :)
Thank you! 😊

Much appreciated! Love you Gob xx 💋
Goblins builds are absolutely amazing
seeing duncan with hoogedam on the update tours again is AMAZING!!!

Agreed. I think using closed captions would've been better, too
Noted. Thought I’d try them out and see if they were worth doing
Another great update video brimming with fantastic builds!
Thanks a bunch!
The debugged water trick looked awesome and the rails give this nice rounded edge.
That legend making Leuven does an amazing job. Absolute stellar with how good the comparison is between minecraft and the real world.
Nice to see you again, WBC!
As a railway enthusiast I am thrilled that there are more railway stuff going on in the server

Wooo! Thank you guys for continuing to inspire and create these amazing builds time and time again! ❤
Our pleasure!
Always a good day when there’s a server update ❤
Love the addition of random text. Adds a nice comedic effect 😂. Also beautiful train stations! Linford is also looking sooo goood!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Wow Jasna Góra looks incredible
Greatest server ever, thank you for sharing:)
great to see you back wbc blud!
in my country youtube doesnt work so i had to download this video to watch it.
always love to see your content! not many others who have eyes for detail like you and the rest of the builders have
I appreciate that!
I thought I was finally getting a little decent at building in neoclassical and baroque styles. Then I come across this video, and by extension, this channel. These builds are amazing. I'd nearly suffered an attack of Stendhal syndrome
1 hour server update tour let's goooo!
Omg, cant find time to watch whole video at once, but I will, and I know that everything, every place will be great!
Yes yes, very well, thank you!
Its crazy to think how far building has come ever since the debug stick got introduced, imagine looking at this in 2015 when only worldedit existed
All of these buildings are beautiful. Hopefully one day I can join the world
2:42 Jabba the Whiteburgian? I couldn’t help but see it haha.
The statue pose on top of the train station reminds me of (I'm sorry) Jabba the Hutt just the pose mostly
My exact thought haha
I thought so too, I wasn't sure if I dared say it
I love everything you are doing, but maybe try to make some buildings simpler so that you can fill up the cities more quickly?
St. Jabba’s Station looks amazing
😅
@@WBCBuilds In all seriousness though, the builds are incredible :)
Love it, especially Goblin's stuff!
Can anyone help me with ways of doing flocks of birds up near the tops of buildings etc? I think it looks so good
go lookin for IB6 i think some of the stuff he built may interest u if u wanna improve on linford's style
7:56 you can use a mod called lamb dynamic lights to get the hand held light effect
Yes! I found it after filming this video. Thank you though
Seeing all these railyards and train stations makes me wish you would put the create mod into the server and make actual functional trains.
Will you ever use Distant Horizons? It would be so cool to see entire cities and even distant ones.
I’ve got the Bobby mod installed which does the same thing. In this video it’s on 64 chunk render distance
It seems interesting to be able to have Trains
That reclining statue is giving me Hutt vibes.
The statue on the station is jabba the hut
Can u make the station and railway working? like with carts
Nice
seeng the new update made me whant to restart building, and some one knows where find the new map of the world?
Train station got me all hot and bothered 😂
Wait till you see the glass roof I’ve been building 😤
@WBCBuilds I'll be waiting. You've definitely earned yourself a like.
I love your videos but the subtiles are a little bit distracting
Just trying it out, probably won’t do them again
на мою думку ти найкращий будівельник у майнкрафт ❤
Connelly Forks
Nice
13:17
does goblin work at gringotts
Please build Plas Llanmihangel
is japan kingdom also part of whiteberg?
No they are their own separate empire
@@WBCBuilds Oh nice btw love your vids :D
1:27 anyone know what it's called?
I guess you could call it a portico ?
Or perhaps more precisely propylea
Yes that’s the word
BTW the subtitles are a bit much. And I like having subtitles, but please make them less word by word, and more having most of the sentence at a time ❤
are u the King or Prime Minister
I’m the prime minister, the king is only the figurehead of the country. I hold all the real power
@@WBCBuildsnice! Who’s the king though?
@inquisa king George V
@@WBCBuilds oh u are in 1912 got it haha
Hi, why did I get banned from discord if I just passed an aerial photo of a city in the #share_your_builds channel?
can you please get someone else to do the live commentary?
No? Why would it’s my channel
@@WBCBuilds can you try writing scripts then?

I really 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓭 that big hotel in 𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓭. Absolutely 𝓻𝓲𝔃𝔃𝓵𝓲𝓬𝓲𝓸𝓾𝓼. That Polish town in the 𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻 𝓯𝓸𝓻𝓽 was also bussin'.
Please publish this world on Minecraft for PlayStation 😭 I want to buy it 😭😍 its so beautiful
