I tend to try to defend Florida considering I was raised and love here (just outside of Daytona Beach since 5 until 34 currently) and it doesn’t seem nearly as bad or deranged as many would think because of “Florida Man” news stories - at least not here in what I would call my home area - but with that said, I shit you not, at least half of these news stories are from Florida. I know the vast majority of listeners wouldn’t recognize that because O&A only mention the city or county but I certainly do... wtf lol. I guess it really is just that fucking nuts though. I’m flabbergasted, especially after listening to multiple audio/visuals for this bit and noticing the same or close to same multiple times...

After watching a documentary on Dwyer's life, I realized his dilemma - a good man, trying to do the right thing, is fodder for the system, and it's only a matter of time and circumstances, before you give in and eventually, give up. Saying stupid things that don't make any sense, bringing on callers that completely stops the groove of the show, trashing vos for being stupid and unfunny, being stupid and unfunny, confidently spouting out "jokes" that would receive 20 car crashes if anyone else said it, getting defensive if those bombs don't get a pity laugh, and fake laughing at jokes you just know he didn't understand. I'll never understand how this guy became 1st mic on a comedy show for 20 years. He possesses none of the talents needed to do that. You'd think at least the funny in the room would have sunk into him through osmosis or something.

8:50 or so, people from Extreme Makeover: Home Edition sold the houses all the time because they can't afford the upkeep & new property taxes, let alone the electricity bills and the like. Lottery winners end up broke all the time because they didn't budget for high property taxes / income taxes when they went & spent 90% of their winnings on a mansion & a dozen cars, thinking the gravytrain was going to last forever. It was likely the same for those people who got the 'free' house; they knew they couldn't afford to live there, sold it to stay where they were at & be able to afford things they couldn't before OR sold it to buy some house they COULD afford to live in.
Which that was true about the hard drive. I've been trying to get files back with no luck, even using Data recovery software. Our company lost 20 contracts lol. Useless. I love theses weird stories, some of them are hilarious.
