Thanks that’s lovely 😊 same as my mother and my wife dose it u for got the 🍷🏁🇦🇺💚💛
some years ago we went to Lourdes, the French pilgrim place where people still get healed on a daily basis, and there were 2 ladies from our Legion of Mary group and they had the cooking chore for a couple days and they put EVERYTHING in the oven. I had never seen anything like that, rice, veggies, meat neatly arranged in the big pan and it then tasted sooo delicious
Sounds great !!
@@EnglishmaninMalta forgot to say the 2 ladies were from Malta🙂💝💛

Great Steve we love cooking videos,
My wife makes this baked rice sometimes as she was show many years ago by a Maltese friend slightly different to yours, but as you said you can vary it as you like and the Maltese do just that, when you have it in someone house its always different, makes this dish very versatile. Looking forward to more foodies. Thanks Steve 🥘

THAT "ROSS IL-FORN" (BAKED RICE) " LOOKS DELICIOUS 🍳 🍽 🍷 😋 🎥.
There's so many different versions of that recipe - rice is so versatile.
Steve, my late Mum was the opposite to your "kunjata". She used to give US the meat 🥩 and my late Dad just the rice - joking! 😂 🤣 😂.
We all shared, the seven of us! - God provided when it came to food 🙏.
WELL DONE STEVE 😋 👏 👏 👏.
Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™
I love it!
The sizzle makes your mind imagine the aroma!
......omg the onions !! I love it !!
Wow Steve looks delicious,I’m going to try cooking that also the Video was very clear with no problems
Thank you Sharon
Looks nice Steve and your a very tidy cook 👩🍳.
Thanks 👍
That looked a bit nice Steve. A right little Fanny Cradock. (old English cook). I had to laugh when you said set the oven on Gas Mk. 180, I thought Christ that's a bit hot. No, but seriously I think you do well with the cooking, the commentary and the drinking of the Red Wine. Oh, that old saying 'Bob's your uncle' the next bit is 'Fanny's your aunt'. Can't forget Fanny. Don't keep eating too much Steve otherwise your never going to get into those Speedo's now your well over 10k. Take care. Thanks.
My mother used to make "pulpetti" with corned beef.
Yes, thats also really nice
Looks delicious but you need to beat the eggs before you put them in the rice. Wow, that looks delicious enjoy joy. Do you have any kids Steve?
Well thats the way i do it and it came out ok !! What different it make ? It all got mixed up together
I've been watching your show for a year a keep up the good work you are doing can you do a rabbit stew the Maltese way please it's my favourite ,thanks😃😀🤩

And fried rabbit in garlic?
@@EnglishmaninMalta thanks, I will keep an eye on it👌👍
Great seeing you cooking Steve. My mum used to put corned beef I it too. I’ve never cooked it here in Holland. I’ll try it the coming week. The wine is also a good idea🍷😀

If you know, I also make music! You can use it in my videos all for free! You can find them on my channel!
I put a beef cube and also milk and mix it and cook
sounds good ...But the cornbeef I find good enough with out the added salt of the cube
Looks lovely, well done Steve. My question how many people did you cook for? Enough to feed the neighbours😋😁😁
Can freeze and then quick easy snack
At lest you didn’t Chuck it all over the cooker steve haha
Wel. Done Steve...I will try it your way..I find this dish abit bland..curry powder a good 💡
And maybe some stronger herbs if bland
I usually put chilli flakes on lol
What rice did you use..
long grain
starvin now steve...
where is the curry powder steve?
I said its an option like the chilli flakes, it can be done in many ways
Who is Kanyatta please?
🥴🤣🤣 yes sorry forget to say the English kunjata mother in law
Oh... forgot to say..the origin of this dish is phoenician.
Thank you Miss goddess historian ...would imagine lots of Maltese dishes are a bit mixed
Thanks for your videos Steve. They’re always the best and you’re so much fun. Thanks for always giving us the awesome content. I love continuously learning about Maltese things.
Very welcome x
Every thing well done Steve exept you did not put some red wine with the meat and tomato sauce no stock no pepper no salt .
It makes a big difference.
Otherwise is as maltese as you wish bye bye
Funny enough you don't need stock and salt when you use cornbeef ?? I sometimes put a spoon of curry, But I put pepper, as I said there are many ways to do it .. ps ...I took the red wine separately lol 😂
Where is the curry
Its not a must ? I did say curry can be added
Wow!! #1 view provider Promo>SM!!
