Some group chose to lipsync bcs want to dance good, but they lost what is enjoying music in the stage. Look at mamamoo,, eventho this is not hard-knife dance, but live vocal, live band, strong stage presence make audience enjoy this a lot. Fans or not. For ex, You can see the reaction from other idol. Look at them to see the difference between idol who dance hard but lipsync and this.
I agree with you, like if idol wants to do a stage where they focus on dancing they should do it explicitly, like no need to have a mic or else, just dance, it's cool too and more enjoyable ! Also they were a video where they explained why live singing was so much better and it was really interesting. When you sing live, even if it is not perfect, you actually connect with the public and this is what makes the stage so much better for everyone. A perfect performance is often blank and emotionless, making it really hard for the public to connect or enjoy.
