I think we may have found our new favorite trail - introducing "The Maze"! If you're familiar with offroading, as you watch the video, you'll notice that most obstacles can be as technical or difficult as you want them to be.
And we only did a FRACTION of the obstacles there. Definitely one we will have to return to in the future.
But beware, because as you can see, trail damage is definitely a possibility!
Hope you all enjoy the video!

I have watched hundreds of offroading videos, and Kevin is consistently one of the best drivers I've seen. He isn't overly aggressive (which seems to causes the majority of catastrophes in these situations) and he's got wicked good instincts. Bravo!

But as you watch, you’ll notice I slowly let the reins go to “Nobody” after a couple obstacles and he proves himself to be more than capable.

Lite Brite And showed your knowledge by doing so, 5x national rock crawling champ spotter , you picked it well and he was Mr humble not given his name to a growing TH-cam channel. 👌. Honestly it's a good experience to watch a spotter from his pint of view if you know he's mad skilled becaue those lines he picks like you said that seemed counterintuitive are known out of experience , expands your mind and knowledge as A spotter and a driver! Moab Easter Jeep safari a few years ago I did a trail ride with a group and have never really had a consistent spotter so I often end up with people I don't know spotting me which freaks me out but that year and trail we had a 2x national champ spotter of UROK that was the JKU Rubi , randomlythe keep in front of me, after watching his first line and some of the crowd that would gather to watch him hit each one , I watched him WALK up with ease the first picking some intersetdig lines I wouldn't have picked but in a very similarly built JKu,I followed and he got out and spotted me the last1/3 of th obstacle and told me after less humbly who he was lol. I watched him drive and spot so closely and learned a lot that ride of the balance points of a JKu on 38's and 6.
Teraflex also had one of their show JKU's in the group I was obsessed with, was a new generation prototype LCG (low center of gravity ) long arm kit that in thinking was only 3-4 inches by the jeep was on 42's with the fenders trimmed out , SUPER low center of gravity with a ton of droop , looked SOOoooo stable compared to everything out there.

No freakin way, the wet crack !? lol I am super impressed with the JL and Kev, both! He's really getting the JL thing down! I live 2 hours north of Moab and took my wife and 3 daughters there for their first time, I've got to Moab Easter Jeep Safari every year for 28 years and was excited to show them what actual rock crawling is and also the beauty of Moab! My daughters are 12 10 and 18 months,.. we did little lions back just so I could guage how nervous or scared they'd be and which girls, they seemed to trust me so we hit Fins n things as a starter to warm them up for the feel, then on to Hells Revenge , on the way there in the 4 hours we were messing around and went back west some brand new Lime geek BUIlT JL was on a wrecked Jsut outside the trail with the entire top and windshield as well as the driver side completely smashed . My wife said "um was that on the trail we're getting on??? Of course I said uhh nooo, that was on Moab Rim.....🙄 (way north west of here) lol They LOvED it!! We piggybacked a group of JL's and one JKU, one of the JL's in front of us was nine stock but a Rubicon with a 16 year old female driver and her 16 year old best friend. Which made me nervous , we go to the first real obstacle and i walked up to spot her and she said up, can I watch you do it first and then spot me! And then do it yourself in mine if I can't? " lol all my girls stayed in the car most the day, my 18 month old LOvED it!!! Bouncing around . Top off , beautiful spring Day!!!! I let the wife and girls out the last little. It to walk the trail and play and they had so much fun! About done a CRAZY micro burst rolled in SO fast , couldn't even get the top up in time, did the rest the trail In a downpour which made me really understand why the call the sandpaper like sandstone , slickrock when wet lol That was the first time I'd seen a JL and the bone stick rubicon's handled hells revenge extremely well!!! We were in our built JKU, looked Jsut like the for sale one with the exo cage in this video but it's on 38's with Tera50r/ARB front axle and a Tera60R/ARB/5:13's in the rear . Full body armor , built Tom woods drive lines, full body protection , winch and snorkel for those spring river crossings. I was amazing that as built as ours was and with the experience I have , that 2 JLs stock with newer inexperienced drivers did as much as they did! Kept thinking "man a built JL would be IT!!!! And I keep seeing with you guys that the truth! I'd love to get one of the new Jeep Trucks commin out in whatever Rubicon equal package they have but love the wheelbase of the JK /JL too much, and the JL bein. Wider and more stout and also road friendly. I can't imagine it!!! Best part of the trip , have a video on facebook with both axles locked filming while I drive . All 4 wheels smoking spinning turning left and right yetingnto shimmey up one of the harder obstacles and while doing that I look up and film my wife at the top and I yell "my wife says this is a no go,..what do u think?" To which she signals the "no-go arm signals shaking her head with the look of death saying "STOP!!!....STOP!!!!" Lolol
Needless to say Moab was a total success! The trip I did with my parents as a kid where we'd sit at bump dump and potato salad and watch drivelines snap and the occasional roll is not my new yearly with my girls. 👌. If you have daughters and never taken them thinking they wouldn't like it , take them!! Non of mine are I to that stuff but look forward to next year like Christmas!
In 2007 I bought a SEMA crazy built JKU , the first one in the US with a 6" long arm prototype by BDS, on 37's, 5:13's cbhromolys, trailready beadlocks , prototype trailready full body armor , underbelly, front and rear bumpers , TC, quick disconnect fender flares , and a new prototype electronic module that allows the use of front and rear lockers in 4 high and the rear locked in 2 high! One of my favorite mods that keep had, sand, snow, water crossings , 4 high both lockers actuated it was insane. Got that keep on eBay , the ONLY bidder, brand new with 5,500 miles that were just show miles for $4,000 UNDER MSRP FOR S BONE STOCK SPORT!!!! (Becaue they wanted to build another becaue it was done and Jsut finished SEMA. Thought for sure they'd say "uh, yeah I know it said no reserve buiuuuut..... " but they didn't ,they honored the sale! I drove that rediculous head turner around for 2 years , it got more looks than any vehicle I've owned becaue it was the first 4 door wrangler around and then being fully extreme built and a sema vehicle was such a blast. Point it when I went from my built TJ unlimited rubicon's thinking they were the kings,..to the JKu built it was such night and day!! I could believe that I could do 80mph comfortable and efffortblesslt and in a Rubicon on 37's , felt like a Cadillac too compared to my
tJ's, I've heard that it's a lot the same difference from JKU to JL and dying to get one! Been watching your channel prove them and really impressed! Was worried about buying a first year so for the first time after owning and building (all but 1) 23 jeeps , I decided to try a built Toyota 4Runner TRD expedition vehicle . I've loved it, the road manners are amazing and it's nice off-road but I can tell even as much as it's had put into it that it's no built jeep. Time to sell and go back to my love!
