During Trail Hero in Sand Hollow, we finally had our very first official Lite Brite Trail Ride, where we were joined by over 40 off road vehicles! And then to top it all off, we wrapped things up by giving away a whole lot of free stuff!

I just figured out what to do to the XJ. I want to cut the back top off and I love the look of your top and think a slanted soft top just on the rear would look ok. Wonder if best top would help me out🤙

I found your channel and I have watched every single video. I don't even own a jeep but but I do have a quad at home haha and I am currently living in Thailand. I love watching your videos, you guys are amazing. It is fantastic that you pay it forward or give back, you guys don't have to but you choose to and that's great. Awww man that looked like so much fun 😭😭😭😭 wish I could have continued on with you guys - Ellie was sadly not having it that day. Still haven't been able to diagnose the 4low issue yet but should have it done by the end of the week (finally!)
If anyone has a YJ and could help out - when I place Ellie in 4low and put her under load she pops out of 4low into neutral. 4high works fine, and I can slot it into 4low no problem. I'm thinking (and was told) it was one of three things - low transfer case fluid (couldn't get the damn fill bolt off so I need to buy a torch), worn physical shifter linkage (looked fine when I went over it and some people said that was more of an issue when it wont shift into 4wd at all), or the gear is worn inside the transfer case. Any other possibilities?
I'm not a transmission guy, but , years ago, my '78 F250, w/granny gear 4-speed... was something to do with shift fork.. I think it was the plastic thingies that fit over the tops of the fork.. Were worn or broken. Wasn't pushing the gear all the way in.. Was nearly 30 years ago.. So, was a while back, and kinda hard to remember now..
... Anyway... I think once you get into it, you can check things out..
.... Seems like I even had a spring break that is under one of the detent balls.. So, check those too.. Good luck....
I know it sounds weird but have you checked your transmission and motor mounts? When in 4LO torque causes lots of movement in driveline and if one of the mounts are bad it will cause 4LO to pop out. Notorious for YJs.

@@JerseyStyle7 I can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head... but they stopped by a new Jeep shop in Georgia (just west of Atlanta if I remember correctly). I'll see if I can find it and get back to you. But it was an awesome shop, not like anything I've seen before. If you have the time, it might be worth a little detour on your way back north.
