looks like great framework to try and solve many problems that have no standard solution so far. first problem came in mind is multi path with TOF sensor. might help fix "bending" in the point cloud and might offer better judgment for what is valid measurement.
What is needed to make this work on drone/ rc plane flying at high altitude? Can it work on Arducam's stereo camera? The distance between these cameras is small - is it enough to work to tell depth at ground level from high altitude?
