i mean really when it comes to dps it's not like you can't pull off a raid with a whole team of low end dps if you're smart enough. so unless you're in a guild that's all about hardcore progression over even RL stuff 1 or 2 not full optimized class/specs isn't going to cause an issue. so hell yeah fun is where it's at.
As an SV hunter main, I appreciate how positive your review was. nice to hear a major TH-camr not just shit on it for not being ranged and see what's actually fun and interesting about it. and yes, it absolutely smashes in PvP

Hey, I made a second hunter just so I could have one that's only survival and I have zero regrets about that. It's super fun and satisfying to play, even if it's not my go to for M+
Aye! Kat is 4 Fite! I still can't believe someone who probably would get their arse shredded by one of those "bottom of the chart DPS" mythic ferals, rejected my druid from WQ boss fight. Bottom of the Mythic chart, doesn't mean incapable, especially for cake walk content. That meh DPS was the only reason I even queued, cuz alone both I and the boss couldn't be killed, because just a hair too low.
As an 11 year paladin main with at least 8 of those years being dedicated to ret, Shadowlands (as with most new patches) has filled me with a sense of "Should I finally give in and re-roll?" But your overview has once again filled me with possibly unrealistic optimism about my main and I thank you for that. Thank you for making a significant portion of your overviews about FUN and not just "This is an S tier class because of these complex mechanics".

I thoroughly enjoy being a nationally protected survival hunter. That was a good one. But agreed it’s just a fun spec to play for those that really give it a go.
I mained it in legion, and kind of fell off in bfa due to the changes made (mongoose bite was such a delight for me) What is it you like the most about it? Im considering giving it a go again
@@johnthorsen5394 I personally like how you weave in throwing a bomb and shoot the enemy with serpent sting. The addition of Aspect of the Eagle making it so you can cast raptor strike/mongoose bite from 40yds away for a short duration is a really cool and sometimes useful concept. I love hurling eagles at my foes lol. It's a pretty fast paced spec but has some added complexity to make it engaging and not mundane.
@@johnthorsen5394 My enjoyment is avoiding mongoose bite like the plague! It felt good in Legion as core gameplay but since then it's just not appealed as a talent. I prefer an AoE bomb build with Butchery - which also felt better in Legion but eh - so it's all about bombing folks and if I have the shrapnel bomb I stack up a huge bleed on everything I hit. My only wish is that Kill Command hit for an amount closer to Raptor Strike. Again, it's more a pop back to Legion when you'd do the attack with your pet that's now a talent, but just seems like something that resets so often should be harder hitting rather than just KC/RS as your main single target rotation. I mean I get it, part of it's about just dumping all your focus if you roll the pheremone bomb then build back with KC and such, but I'd prefer to skip raptor strike entirely. I guess what I'm saying is that I love the spec, it's a ton of fun to play, but there's definitely still a lot of questions about where they should go with it and how. :-)
My sole, and ONLY issue with 2h frost DK, is that frost strike uses the standard special attack animation. Which, for a lot of races, looks a tad Meh. I really wish they changed it :' i want to love frost DK so much

Boy oh boy, I, an Outlaw Rogue, sure do love having to keep up two buffs and a debuff, two of those needing combo points, just to be doing all my 'normal' damage!! And applying poisons now? REALLY helps my fantasy of being a duelist who wins by agility and skill!!! Thanks Blizzard!!!!!!

That said I have two pieces of feedback: The title cards with the little funny/descriptive text - way too short. Also while I appreciated the monk bit, it was harder to follow than the rest of the sections. Love your work guys, keep it up!

However , I love that style way more than what it is now, and i absolutely love how it could also increase the damage of the artifact weapon ability while the artifact weapon ability makes your Mongoose Bite last longer so that u can send out one more big Mongoose Bite. I wish this playstyle can be returned.
23:35 it is, unfortunately, true lol Feral is one of the few specs that blizzard will nerf in a hotfix if they're too good, rather than wait a patch like the rest of dps specs. It's becase of their survivability with bear form and heals in pvp; if feral is doing well in pve, then in pvp they're OP. Stack a few bleeds, throw on a few hots, pop bear form and just wait for someone to die. Of course, blizz could also just, i dunno, make bleeds do 80% damage to players and then feral could be fine in pve again. But instead they just nerf them on all fronts lol

Enhancement Shaman for me. I enjoy the spec and really love the animations and sounds, as well, a big plus for me. My alt atm is a sub rogue but honestly I might go for fury warrior instead. Played arms in BFA and Fury seems fun. Hectic just like enhancement Shaman seems fun. Two specs which is pretty similar pace-wise. :-) No caster alt currently but I'm thinking of destruction Warlock if I want something ranged, and for healer I'm going for Holy priest. Mostly because I've basically never healed as holy priest and the animations are fkn juicy, love stuff like that!
honestly, the survival section is pretty spot-on. as a CE survival hunter main, i can definitely say that the spec feels great, but that the numbers really need to change so that the spec can survive in environments other than single target raid fights

My main is an enhancement Shaman. I started playing with Demon Hunter before I took a break from the game and I really enjoyed it. I think I'll stick with my Shammy first tho haha
It’s funny people always mention the breathe build, but in BFA you could take Ice Cap and take 3 whelpling azerite traits on your armor and just play around frozen pillar resets. You had very comparable dps to breathe and it’s much more fun to play
Enhancement shaman’s only flaw is the NOISE MAELSTROM WEAPON MAKES EVERY FIVE SECONDS OH GOD WHY BLIZZ. If you have stacks of Maelstrom weapon, even out of combat, it makes a “whooshy” spell noise every five seconds.
Frost DK “best raid damage” Haha good one Taliesin 😂 Unholy dominates raids, m+ and pvp Also, I thought summon gargoyle is NOT baseline anymore? They reverted that right?
They did, at the same time Blizz made Epidemic baseline, moved Death Pact talent from the final tier to it's spot and put back in the 'Dark Arbiter' version of Gary with RP spent increasing it's damage.
You realize 2h frost dk's get a massive buff with the stuff we don't get until shadowlands, right? the level 56 and 57 passives massively power up their single target damage.

Its still a talent unfortunatly, was so excited for baseline gargoyle :(
They did, at the same time Blizz made Epidemic baseline, moved Death Pact talent from the final tier to it's spot and put back in the 'Dark Arbiter' version of Gary with RP spent increasing it's damage.
You realize 2h frost dk's get a massive buff with the stuff we don't get until shadowlands, right? the level 56 and 57 passives massively power up their single target damage.
