  • Common issue of why your dodge cummins might be overheating or getting hot while towing and going up inclines. Typical issue is due to radiator being plugged on the outside on these earlier model dodge cummins trucks. In this video I go over not only how to remove your radiator but your Fan clutch and Issue's with factory pcv system on these dodge cummins trucks. Note: You do not have to remove your Fan Clutch to remove radiator I just did a tutorial while I was replacing mine. Before doing this I tried flushing radiator, replacing thermostat with a 180 degree one, installing a new water pump and fan clutch. Went as far as installing external electric fan. Which I will say did help a bit. That's when I knew I was headed in right direction of what the issue really was. But after doing this, truck runs much better and doesn't overheat any more. PROBLEM SOLVED!
