How well do you think this chair would work for someone with ALS? When the pALS looses their arm mobility is this chair able to be pushed by someone. Im not really liking the idea of my family having to spend 25k on a chair im not going to use that long.
Hello KC, our customers with ALS have given us great feedback about our chairs. You can use the joystick yourself, or with an attendant controller bracket, the joystick can be mounted to the back of the chair and used by an attendant. Either way, this is a more affordable and portable option for mobility. Wishing you the best!

Hello Kitty Kat, The Leg Extension Kit is simple to install and remove. There are two posts, one on either side, that drop into place and can easily be removed.

Do you have to remove the additional foot rests and head rest to fold the chair up?
It would make it easier to just remove the additional foot rests and lay those to the side, that's how it looks to me at least.
