This is story of Dhanushkodi which is located in ramanathapuram district,Tamil nadu, the town was destroyed during the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone and remains uninhabited in the aftermath. Today only a few family, vendors and restaurants can be seen at dhanushkodi during the day along with the ruins of the long destroyed town, I wish dhanushkodi people peace and prosperity for the future. I hope you enjoyed this piece and understand that not every single detail of the story could be highlighted. Dhanushkodi is one of the most tragic ghost towns in India. Once filled with thousands of tourists & traders every year it's been abandoned now for about 58 years. Sending hope and positivity to all the people out there.
