- First impressions and unboxing of the new Seiko Presage Model: SSA379J1 which is inspired by a traditional Japanese Zen Garden (Karesansui).
Damon one of our newest members of staff is very passionate about Japan and the culture, So he wanted a watch which encapsulates this. We think he found the perfect match!

I have a 6.5 inch wrist, would you recommend it? I've been looking at it for quite some time
I wouldnt do anything over 38mm for smaller wrists maybe max 40. But i think you have to personally try it and see to truly find out because some watches can wear larger or smaller.
Have a little bit bigger than 6.5 wrist and think it works on my wrist. Would keep an eye out at jewelers in your area and see if you can try it out however.
@MrKumbayah lug to lug is what matters as well as how his wrist is shaped

Is it worth buying this new seiko presage?? What’s the daily accuracy of the watch??can this watch fit in small size wrist??
We definitely recommend this piece! According to Seiko it has an accuracy of -20 ~ +40 seconds daily, personally I've found no issue. Yes it can fit a smaller size wrist, personal preference is definitely a factor though!
depends on what you call a small size wrist but I don't have a big wrist for a man and it fits perfectly well
I'm perfectly fine with 42mm in diameter but 12.5mm thick is a bit much for my taste. The dial is gorgeous in my opinion and the price seems quite fair so I may pick one up even though it is a little thicker than I'd like.

@@rade86pg bro I wouldn't say its too elegant because of open heart movement in the front. It would go with suits and casual clothing but not a sportwear 😉 Dunno what's your work but yes you can definitely wear it to office. In my opinion you won't regret

I love everything about this watch except the bloody roman numerals!
What is great about the dial is that depending on the light and ont the orientation of the light, colors kind of change. At least n the black one

WatchGecko great review. 👍 I think this watch you reviewed is more aesthetically beautiful without being cluttered, hence I prefer the open heart version.
I would have never thought an open heart watch would be so appealing, but after seeing this very SSA379J1 (along with the Tissot’s and Frederique Constant’s open heart versions), I plan to buy one! Just beautiful.
