Thanx for the update! One question, my kids like to play with me a lot. How long after the surgery were you able to do that again. I mean the more physical playing, that my girls just like to do with their daddy. One doctor told me one year, but my neurologic surgury docter told me 3 months. I am so scared, just 3 more nights before they do the ACDF on me.
I have lots of videos about my decisions on my surgeries. Primarily, when the spinal cord is involved directly, epidurals aren’t that useful. I was risking physical mechanical damage to my cord and basically having a spinal cord injury. Epidural was never really discussed. I wanted to fix the problem, not cover it up.
@@johncardaci5437 nope, just woke up one day and my hands were numb and weak. Both sides. Aka disc herniation on my spinal cord. That lead to the first surgery. Second surgery was I think left over from the first time that just proceeded to get worse over the years. Much improved overall now.

Before c6-7 cervical disc replacement did anyone recommend an epidural ?

@@Adriennewithane oh..how long did you notice the symptoms before surgery? What were they? Leg related issues? Arms? Loss of feeling? Weakness?
