I think we have a somewhat sluggish and heavy reviewer who's intent was to give this car a bad review from the start. Horrible review of this car. You are obviously biased as you mention BMW many, many times. This is a gorgeous car that drives like dream. You want to talk about outdated interior? Look inside any BMW and you would think you were back in 1985.
There is a global brainwashing going on in this matter. Reviewers and also car enthousiasts are obsessed with BMW and Audi. He's not the only one doing this mistake and he just mentionned "the names of evil", 8 times... that is, compaired to his collegues, not a lot. I remember to have seen french reviewers having"Mercedes and BMW" mentionned every 30 seconds. Their marketing capaign sure have worked.
I just got one. And have to say I got out of my beloved 2015 mustang ecoboost, and this is an upgrade in many ways !! The interior is stunning. The handling incredible. The build quality tremendous. The only things I miss is some power and a few bells and whistles. It’s more expensive but you see and feel what you pay for
this is the most reliable sport car, does not brake your pocket compare to BMW, Audi, Benz, and yes speed limit in Florida is still 75 so what's the problem , I luv mine v8 beast
I find the Lexus RC perfect in many ways. Huge trunk, the basics engine are frugal and give a decent performance, the styling is pure Mecha inspired, what will make them great for Itasha projects. They are comfy and sharp in the same time. And we didn't spoke about the RCF, that is a really uncommon car nowadays. The RC makes me smile, and it's a good successor, with 21 century genes, of the Supra and the Hachiroku.
Toyota has not been making a good looking car since the Supra & Celica in the nineties !!!! Which is where I think they get there dashboards from today, it really is a shame, as there dealer network usually is excellent .
Bmw M2 with no options and a manual transmission with 370HP and LSD and much better sound is 10 times a better car. And the price is below 60000 Euros in Germany.
For the moneys worth, the RC 200t is probably best. You don’t sacrifice too much performance or aesthetics for a reliable and unique vehicle. Now that I think about it, I RARELY see this vehicle for resale. I’m assuming that must be a good thing if owners don’t want to part with them.

I must say, the looks of this car don't make me smile. They make me sick. It looks like someone took an axe to a Toyota Solara. Actually, a Solara that has been attacked by an axe murderer would probably look better. To each their own I guess, but seeing this makes me cringe it's so ugly.
They are reliable, fast, very smooth to drive but at the same time can become rough when you want it to. It is not a track car and is purely for the road.

Really accurate review. Yes it's a sheep in wolf's clothing. But as Marek said, it's a smile car. Handles great and fun to drive. If you want super fast acceleration go elsewhere or get the 350. Fuel economy is as advertised after 2,000 miles driven break in.
if you are 70+ years of age, have some spare money and always wanted a sports style car, then this could be a choice. There is plenty of space for your drugs for variety of diseases: heart, head, joints, liver pains, genital rash (oh you naughty naughty grandma), vascular calcification you name it.
Why do journalists love Lexus cars? Perhaps some hype crosses the Atlantic from the place where they are considered good cars due to the lack of anything good. Unattractive, cheap looking, plasticy cabin, rubbish ergonomics...and in Europe we can buy so much better cars and for less money.

Camaro are better value in that you can get a higher spec engine but it will not be as reliable as a Lexus. The Truth is you will need to test drive both of these cars to get a feel and try the higher Spec Camaro. It all depends on what you actually desire. I am planning on getting a RC F to replace by RS5 (as it looks like Audi are turbo charging).
