Honestly, I feel so bad for the students in that school right now. People are so weird these days and try to cover it up by them being "themselves." Being yourself is fine when you're not harming anyone. When it's affecting people around you, second guess yourself and stop.

As a teacher, it is against our code of ethics to be seen in a bathing suit on social media by our students. Years ago, we had teachers placed on probation for wild hair colors. Anything that distracts from learning could be a punishable offense against your certificate. This teacher would not have been allowed to walk through the doors of our school.

I'm a high school student in America, and personally, if this teacher was in my school that teacher would have been made fun of by all the students no questions asked. That teacher wouldn't even have a chance to apply for a job at a school if they were dressed like that. I'm a middle school student not a high school student but honestly, I'd feel really uncomfortable to be around this teacher. I think its highly inappropriate and its ridiculous that the principal is allowing it and covering it up by saying that they respect genders and being inclusive etc. Its so disappointing to see where we have come and I really hope the students that have that teacher are ok because I sure wouldn't be.

You don't want to discriminate, but there should be a line drawn. This is an example of just because you CAN do something doesn't mean that you SHOULD. If that teacher is making a statement, that's fine, but there are other ways to do it without potentially making a fool of herself. This is most definitely a distraction for the students. I remember when I was in the 5th grade and we had a substitute that wore a white blouse and no bra and all of the guys wanted help with assignments so she can lean over our shoulders and we could get a good look. This is WAY too much.

I have a son and I would be infuriated if my son was going to a school with this issue. I really feel for the kids. They seem very well articulated for middle schoolers and seem like they have a lot more sense than the adults involved. I’m even bothered by the curriculum they push onto kids regarding understanding their sexuality and gender expression. I think that kind of stuff can be difficult for adults to understand let alone preschoolers, because this is the stuff I see being taught on Blue’s Clues and in schools today. We should just be teaching them to love and be accepting of all people. Before anything, we’re all human and the value of acceptance is useful in all areas of life.

I’m a student from Ontario. What happened was initially everyone was caught off guard when this happened. But everyone thinks that’s he’s trans. That’s not the case, he trying to show that it is not normal to change sex even if you want to change your gender. And also we don’t have strict dress codes. People wear crop tops, booty jeans, etc… and don’t get called out.
Im a hs student from ontario, live abt 10 mins away from that school and when I saw that I literally had no words and the fact that our government is completely standing by this to be "inclusive" is absurd to me. Nobody but the government is standing for this.

I'm 26 with no kids, but I knew very early on how important education is and having a healthy environment is for raising a good person/good society. When I become a parent, school location, curriculum, staff, nutrition and more will ALL be equally checked before I place my child in any schools that put the safety of individual adults, their pocket money, etc over innocent children. It's ok to be yourself, but we gotta remember there are a lot of people who try to harm and taint kids in some way shape or form no matter their background/identity/beliefs.
There is a theory the teacher is doing it to prove a point. She is trynna show people that by doing this she is protected form all consquences, cuz now the school is supporting her.

I live really close to that school and have multiple friends that go to O.T (oakville trafalgar) apparently the teacher is trolling the administration because he never embraces the “woke culture”. Oh a friend spoke to me about something similar to this, last year. Here's his one:
Last year, some teachers started wearing shorter dress. Then out of no where, male teachers started wearing gym clothes. Like those Vest with short pants. Soon enough, the women started wearing bikinis with peaces of clothing attached to it. Met him this year again, he told me the school added new rules implied to teachers to dress formally. Some teachers were fired for not signing the new rules and some signed but didn't cope. While other teachers started dressing formally.
