I find it interesting how this scene ironically is less dark in the Tim Burton movie. You’d think Tim Burton would make it creepier but it’s much creepier in the original movie.

It gives the scene MUCH MORE unsettling vibes then the other soundtrack. Dear lord...I love it.
I think I would actually love to see the old film with the soundtrack of the new film. I think it fits really well.

Tim Burton was striving for a more book-accurate adaptation. Aside from the "Wonka's childhood" stuff, it's a very faithful adaptation.
