Educative!! Wish the Sheikh had also mentioned Hamiduddin Farahi, who was a pioneer in this work.

i want someone to make an online interactive infographic on the structure of the Qur'an. too bad very few Muslims really care about using the Internet and apps for an Islamic cause

Said Hawwa's tafsir "Al-Asas fi al-Tafsir" is the most detailed work on this subject, IMHO.

  • @YTaahmed45

He should have mentioned in details the work of Imam Hamiduddin Farahi, who really discovered the coherent structure of the Quran, which work was furthered by Amin Ahmed Islahi and then Javed Ahmed Ghamidi. Anyway, it is satisfying that the world is now understanding that the Quran is not a incoherent book, and that there is a divine arrangement of the entire text of the holy book Quran.

It was indian scholar Hamiduddin farahi who discovered this 'najm' or coherence in the quran..

It is a blessing that we Muslims can accept and profit from alternative examinations of God's Word. Certainly we must use all the gifts given to us to know God's message as thoroughly as we can. Will definitely buy this. Many thanks.....

this is even better than the miracle of number 19. Haven't heard Shabir Ally talk about the 19 for a while now, is it no longer fashionable, there was a time when he just would not shut up about it.

Shabbir Ally is ignorant of the fact that the author merely presented Mawlana Hamid Ud Deen Farahi's theory of the Coherence of the Quran in the English language. Farahi's work is already in Arabic, so why would Shabbir Ally wants Raymon'ds work to be also in Arabic. Raymond only exploited the lack of materials on the subject in the English language, doesn't mean he has pioneered nor adds anything substantial to the discussion. Such is the weak mindset of the likes of Ally, who seem to think lately that only Western intellectuals and revisionists offer any kind of meaningful perspective of Quran and Islam in the 21st cetury, when the theory of structural coherence in the Quran was already developed by Muslims, such as Farahi and Islahi in the 19th and 20th century. So what's so groundbreaking?
