Saw them in box in my storage about 5 years later so I was like, I remember you, picked them up, made it about 10mins in and decided I still need another 5years before I'm on that level...2025 I'll be where you're at, just you wait and see.

That woman can sing like she went to school for that. Her vocal control sounds like she is playing an instrument as well. She literally sings the notes like she is pressing keys. She is in tone with the tones as she sings them. Regardless what you play if she sings a tone she keeps it intentionally. Good stuff man. Dang

I do not think I have ever watched such a good a tutorial video explaining how to move from rnb/ gospel to neo soul via chords. Everything just fits into place watching the neo soul equivalent performed by such a high level singer/pianist. At 10 mins I was like is this Erikya Badu's little sister? I guess the traditionalists will hate it, same as every genre. But I think neo soul allows modern musicians a great balance of history and individuality while still sounding relevant. I hope you hookup with this singer again as well, she slayed the whole video
