Good detailed video, the evolution of Malcolm's products just keeps getting better and better. Shared on my SM for you guys. I would love to have some of his stuff one day!
Great review. Malcolm used to do custom work on the Haversack. Sometimes the simple stuff is all you need. Not a lot of MOLLE/PALS. Not a lot of confusing pockets or compartments to get in the way. It's fine for a day hike or foraging as you mentioned.
Awesome haversack! Just ordered mine in black & Coyote for urban EDC pack and a outdoors. So happy it has a grab handle now!!! As always I’m happy I subscribed to your channel sooo long ago! Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁 and happy new year!!!🎆
Nice review. I have been wanting to order one since he opened his new store after the winter break. I currently use Swiss and Polish bread bags for my "haversack."
+manofsteg oh I wouldn't hesitate to get this over the Maxped. Biggest reason is I'd rather support one guy in Massachusetts over a big company that sells millions. But aside from that, I like the Haversack much better anyway. It doesn't have the designated water bottle pocket, which is great on the jumbo. But it's much more versatile in that I think it goes better between wilderness and EDC. I wear this out and it looks pretty normal. Wear the jumbo out, and in my opinion, it just looks a bit tacti-tool for me, haha. Oh, and go for the Marshal Gray if you get the haversack. Looks amazing.
+Chris Mays Excellent! Those are great reasons for the Haversack over the Jumbo. I was a little concerned the Jumbo would come across slightly tacti-tool (ha!) as i work in an office and would use this to carry my EDC gear. Would maybe miss the concealed carry pocket in the Haversack too but i think i could get by without it. Thanks again for the great data points!
+Byron there are flashlights out there that fit every category. my two favorites right now are the ea11 from nitecore and the lumintop tool which is in my pocket daily.
"Just the fit and finish is incredible..." What's with the crooked, wavy stitch on the front flap (1:40-1:44)? Things like that matter to most people. Otherwise, nice kit.
Great review as always! Nice and clean and to the points with no stuttering or going off subject and all that other crap haha! keep it up Stay prepared and safe boss , watching in Cali !
That is what I use mine for and it works awesome. My pole breaks down and fits in to the Molly attachments after I catch my limit and have to walk back up the creek which is usually over a mile through thick brush and I don't get any hang ups even with the pole attached to the side.
yeah you said that three years ago on review of the same sack by Larry... do you just troll around looking for opportunities to make snarky comments? Or maybe you "just" got another one for $1...
You got me mixed with someone else. I garage sale every week and can tell you this small sack is my first. Now I can tell you I bought a LL Bean Continental Ruck Sack (Back Pack) that retails about $75 at a garage sale late last year for mmmmmmm, $3 or $5.
Thanks for sharing ! The quality in everything he makes is evident in so many ways from material selection to the last stitch.
+SurvivalComms he has stepped up his game a bunch.

+Barry Dutton i agree, gets better and better.

What?? You mean mine is outdated? ........
Malcolms work is always top class and this haversack is no exception, great review dude ~Peace~
+Zed Outdoors thanks for checking it out.
Thanks Ben. I ordered mine today. All should go well.

+NorwegianWoods thanks for watching.
It's a very nice quality Haversack. Malcolm makes awesome hand made gear. His day ruck is sweet too. Great review.
+sameold77 that he does.
On the fence, no more!!! Just put it in my cart. Thanks for the review!
+tr3m3ndoh nice, enjoy.
Just got mine in grey color. Got four other products as well. Very well made.
Nice Pack! Old world design using new modern materials. The best of both worlds.
+TheTacticalDefender for sure.
Nice review. I have been wanting to order one since he opened his new store after the winter break. I currently use Swiss and Polish bread bags for my "haversack."
+beckerm13 You won't regret it :)
I have one on the way in A-TACS, already have 4 fire bags, signal panel and the tinder bag
This looks like just the thing I want. I just purchased one in green.
+Jesse Spurgin nice, enjoy.
very nice review
I got the haversack in earth brown and just had to order the day ruck to match.the quality is just outstanding
+HP Bushcraft can't go wrong with either.
I have used both of them for a couple of months now and I don't see me using anything else
Great review! Think this would work well as an EDC bag? Was looking for something like this for that use.
As long as you're not putting a laptop in there, I think it'd work great. An iPad Air fits perfectly in that inside hi-vis pocket.
+Chris Mays Thanks! Was between this or the Maxpedition Jumbo - probably orange and apples, right?
+manofsteg for sure, perfect for an edc bag.

Malcolm's gear is top notch.
Looks great for hunting.
+MCQBushcraft would be excellent for that, especially adding a roll up dump pouch on the side.
I noticed that you wear a different watch now and not your suunto core..What's the name of it?
+Ilias abastotos garmin fenix 3
+Living Survival hope to see a review of that soon :-)
Do you think adding some padding on the shoulder strap would be a bad idea?
Not at all, although with this size pack I am rarely carrying much weight.
It's a nice pack.. I might suggest adding a light source.. If ever your stuck at night, a reliable light source could prove invaluable.
Just got one. Haven't put it down since I got it.
I would love the same design just maybe in a backpack form
+alex gonzalez check out his day ruck. pretty close but with straps.
the weight is not on the website, but I ordered one anyway..thx for the review man great channel!!!
Thumbs way up! Great review on this haversack 👍🏻

1yankeecowboy yeah, putting in some time with it and then will review it.
That's neat, Thanks!
I've added it to my must have list :)
+Pearl B Mccoy great list to be on ;)
Hey Ben, which EDC or compact flashlight takes your number one spot? And does the Nightcore MH20GT have the longest throw out of them all? Thanks man
+Byron there are flashlights out there that fit every category. my two favorites right now are the ea11 from nitecore and the lumintop tool which is in my pocket daily.

+PREPFORIT great quality.
"Just the fit and finish is incredible..." What's with the crooked, wavy stitch on the front flap (1:40-1:44)? Things like that matter to most people. Otherwise, nice kit.
Nemo San You get things like that with hand made products sometimes. Does it affect it's construction? I highly doubt it.
quality quality quality
VERY NICE
+scott santanni agreed.
I really like this bag a lot...it is a awesome day pack
Great review as always! Nice and clean and to the points with no stuttering or going off subject and all that other crap haha! keep it up

Everything you have looks so shiny and new. Almost as if it's never been used.

Nice Review. I could use that to hold my trout fishing gear.
That is what I use mine for and it works awesome. My pole breaks down and fits in to the Molly attachments after I catch my limit and have to walk back up the creek which is usually over a mile through thick brush and I don't get any hang ups even with the pole attached to the side.
It's a European carry all, a outdoor man purse. 😄 the ones I think of is on the TV show Kung Fu.
Out of stock and not available on amazon. Come on now... the hungry consumers await...
+Forest Rebock it is hand made in batches. visit his site.

Functional.
+Scowler very.
Living Survival

Add a couple of nylon grommets on the bottom and it would be perfect
nice purse! jk! looks like a nice bag
+Matthew Tikka thanks for watching.
I just bought one almost identical, that I added waterproofing spray to at a garage sale for $1.
yeah you said that three years ago on review of the same sack by Larry... do you just troll around looking for opportunities to make snarky comments? Or maybe you "just" got another one for $1...
