I'm so glad they're porting to UE5
You sure? It went like ass for Starship Troopers Extermination
I am so hyped, I like Ready or Not a lot. It just has too less content atm but if they keep adding new content frequently this game will become awesome
freaky or not
nice
i was so happy when i grabbed this game and they had the 509 mod & glad to see you got it too love my 509 she shoots likes a dream
(new sub for that)
Sounds very promising, can’t wait!!
I think we should all learn at this point is we should always expect to pay more for games that aren't finished or are early access.
the house from the first map shown is an asset flip of the abandoned house map in Ghost Watchers
Yawn.
People gotta chill with crying about asset flips.
Online marketplaces for assets have existed for a long time. You can buy models, textures, shaders. Anything.
All these marketplaces exist because there is a demand.
There is a demand because it helps you cut some corners on development.
Buying an asset is no different from hiring someone to build an asset for you - except it's often cheaper and you know what you are getting. You can pick and choose the best asset.
It makes perfect sense for game developers to do this and i'd rather they bought assets if it means they can then focus on other more important things - like polish, engine changes, new animations or weapons.
So long as the game is fun it really shouldn't matter who made the asset or where it came from.
that's actually a mod not official maps
i just droped a new map called "the Pit" only small but a fair few new features have fun
Seen it the other day and installed. Haven’t had time to play it yet but it looks cool 🤙🏽
@@ArielKahane nice one hope you enjoy
Kinda lame that they are adding paid DLCs instead of free content, I’m tired of unfinished games having DLCs when there’s barely anything valuable in them, like I’m going to be honest here, the modding community are the soul reason games like this didn’t die after 1 month of release, I don’t want this to be a payday 3, ground branch scenario, I enjoy ready or not a lot, and I love tactical shooters but a core lesson in business is you need to deliver a lot of value if you want people to buy your product which 99% of developers don’t. Maybe our expectations are too high but that’s exactly why they are so high, gamers are tired of getting scammed. Imo insurgency sandstorm & squad is a good example of a successful tactical game that was genuinely fun for a long run.
(hope they add a light kill switch since they are switching engines)
And many of the futures implemented to 1.0 release was made by modders ex. gloves, clothing, watches etc.
SQUAD is actually the perfect example
Not every game needs to be a free to play live service
@@jty1999doesn’t need to be, but it doesn’t need dlcs when the game is mostly played when moded. At this point we should pay the moders not the company.
@@FyXeeu ... What? Modders didn't make the game, Void did. And you're always welcome to support your favorite modders via endorsements and cash. But you're upset that the developers are making some actual content? It just sounds like you're swinging at the air
Can I ask which AI difficulty file do you use for the HIC Tactical RP mod?
And which one do you prefer between HIC and Astral?
they should fix performance issues and bugs, add necessary features and add more content before selling paid DLCs. Its still like an early access game for me.
Would it be feasible to include suspects down but still fighting, e.g. still wildly firing shots even while bleeding from a stomach wound, or feebly reaching for a weapon? Would add an extra layer of moral dilemma.
if you see police footage you would notice people just dont do that when they get shot. when people get shot and drop to the ground they are more worried that they are dying more than keep shooting, thats something a Navy seal would do really.
@@Vicenteprz Not really? I've seen plenty of footage of people getting shot and continuing to fight, or at least attempt to. Is it more common for them to stop fighting, yes. But not always the case.
I really REALLY hope the devs learn more about performance before moving to UE5
Wonder how the mods will hold up having the fact that the game is porting to UE5
i hope U5 unlock possibility shoot down lights or disable lights in house
the home map looks identical to the bodycam one
Yeah its a custom map for RoN, they asset flipped it. This isn't going to reflect the actual map that void releases lol.
We need a CASINO map, and dare I say a map that takes place in the White House and another in the desert
Wish someone made a mod of Operation 'Black Swan'
Yoo That house, is it similliar like the one on Bodycam??
This same house is in "Bodycam", who made it first?
hehe
Just finished pc build for Ron 7800x3d eith 7900xt hope to do they don't screw this up
There will be a modder anyways who will just copy the DLC maps and put them up onto NexusMods for free. No point of buying the DLC only for the maps.
Maybe if you dont want to pirate. that may be a point. Or not downloading malware
I'm pretty sure that's not allowed by Nexus
Damn you guys really don't like the idea of a paid DLC huh?
@OfficialInvictus depending on the price but if it's 15$ but it's just a bunch of naysayers
@@OfficialInvictus Yeah if the game isn't finished, failed to provide half of the content they promised and they've been silent for a total of literal years to even the diehard supporters who gave them $120 of their hard earned money.
This is the same house in BodyCam just re textured.
It's a custom map
Damn y’all are negative as hell. I’m hyped for new content and the new maps look cool
the first map and the second maps that he showed are now in Bodycam hmm
I'm used to them taking ages between updates since the early access but I hope to god they fix there shit out soon with this UE5 switch cause the amount of people leaving this game is staggering
I just realized the house map being used in this video is an EXACT copy of the home from the new BodyCam game lmao
More so.. Bodycam took the asset from an asset store and used it. Same with the developer of the RoN custom map.
@@OfficialInvictus Makes sense i was just pointing out that they look really similar
@@masterkief2979 Yeah
Ironic you accuse them of taking the map from Bodycam when Bodycam straight stole everything from Unrecorded (including all the store bought assets).
@@SethMcFartlane read my comment above, smh
Whats The pistol used in The vid
Hello ! Will the DLCs be paid for? Or completely free? That is the question?
Why people complaining that games isn't finished? There's like 20 maps, heaps of guns & equipment. Probably more content than the average CoD or BF game and people are complaining that they're adding a paid DLC. I'll take a paid DLC over battlpasses and endless skin packs anyday
What was delivered was not what was promised. There's no support in the form of a sniper or even someone informing you of enemies on a roof or around the building. There is no way to cut power to a building. No trailers, no ladders, etc etc etc. Army veterans fight like army veterans. Hood thugs fight like army veterans. Housewives with shotguns fight like army veterans. If an enemy AI is "hesitating to fire" you know he will not surrender. Closets, beds and desks are treated as hiding places but how many times have you actually had AI hiding there?
I patiently waited *YEARS* for Void Interactive to put out a masterpiece of a game that would revive this genre of games only to receive a game that is- to my feeling- unfinished.
@@stalincat2457there’s trailers. I saw them on the port map literally earlier today. They just don’t show up until the mission is over but they’re there
Did they ever fix the AI being Tier 1 operator crackheads?
Really don’t understand the outrage of having paid DLC, if you want them to keep updating the game they need to monetize something. I understand the people who say that they lost content pre launch, but the content at launch is certainly enough to justify the price point. And if you bought in at the supporter level you get the dlc gratis.
Secondly, maps are really the only thing that would be particularly viable to monetize, since everyone gets the guns free. People are mentioning to monetize through cosmetics, it’s a single player/Co-Op game with mod support, I don’t see that going well nor do I see much interest. Aside from updates to gameplay and beyond there really isn’t much they could monetize, and I don’t think you’d be happy if they added new modes or the ability to kill lights only to stick it behind a pay wall. Maps are really the only thing the developers can do that is above the quality and function of modder’s capabilities, it’s their only option.
Isn’t that the same home map on body cam?
thats what i was thinking too
It is. i had to rewind it and look at it
It has been a good while since I've played Ready or Not. Have they fixed the team Ai and enemy Ai so it doesn't track you through the walls?
Yeah they fixed that in the 1.0, although I would still play with an AI mod.
@mr.castman9106 Gotcha. Last I remember was that, I loved the new things you could tell them, but they would not shoot back at the enemies half the time.
What the hell the game just got out from early access last year and they already suddenly selling paid DLC's.
Suddenly? They have been mentioning paid DLC's since the very first launch. I agree the timing is weird from EA release and the problems with that but lets not act like this was some random thing that came out of no where, VOID have made this clear for years.
Or you could support a developer that is continuing to publish content for an awesome game. Stay woke.
What's the map in the background?
Its a map on Nexus Mods, can be played day or night, cant remember the name but its a great if small map, play it with Terror Hunt mod and its crazy busy
It’s called Forest House I believe
I think there are two maps shown in the background. Very sure the one in the second half is "Hell Comes to the Hills".
They need to add a way that we can take the main weapons of the fallen bandits... it would add some realistic aura to the players that like to close the bot team in a room and clean the map role playing like a single cop or a normal guy defending his house, wielding only a pistol and using the equips of the invasors/bandits against them... There is a story of a Brazilian cop that foughted alone 20 bandits with rifles. He was only with a pistol and taking the rifle and ammo and granades of the ones he killed, he kept fighting until he was rescued.
Man I wish there’s more content not just paid DLC’s this sucks 😒. Mods are great at least keep up the good work guys
They literally said that you will be able to play the maps as long as party leader owns it, not to mention you’ll still get the weapons and QOL updates. There’s literally no reason for you to be complaining. Most things in life aren’t free dude
I won't be buying it, but I will be paying it.
massive maps.... not what we were asking for at all wtf are these devs on
Yeah no shit, I just want houses, not these fucking massive ass maps, they should just make a procedural generation, of a house. I'm tired of being on a map for 30 minutes.
@mr.castman9106 💯 agree on that one. Missions are too long. Want a gamemode where you get call on a random mission with a procedurated building to investigate.
Wait supporter edition owners don’t get free dlc?
They do.
They get the first one for free so this one you are seeing is free for supporter owners.
Worried about UE5.3 after GZW
I’m just bought a PC coming from ps5. Is this game worth buying?
absolutely yes
It has flaws but it will get better
Liking the new DLC , hopefully the delay will give us a better product in the end.
But UE5 Ready or Not with the lumen lighting would be 🔥
Hey, Im just asking anyone here. Wont the unreal engine switch reduce performance?
I hope not.
@@BetterWarrior well i dont know i thought it makes the game look better and stuff
@@BetterWarriorIt would if they decide to upgrade graphical fidelity.
@@BetterWarrior Graphical fidelity means lower performance when you want nice particles and lighting effects along with shadowed light sources everywhere and no fake lighting, ray tracing, high resolution textures with parallax, great LODs for vegetation, far rendering distances, a lot of props (with high res textures and high quality meshes again), physics among other things. That's what graphical fidelity is and trust me that can kill GPUs fast, especially with 8 Gb of VRAM which is not enough anymore. Even Skyrim (released initialy in 2011) with its mediocre engine kills my 3070 Ti insanely good with quality ENB presets and high quality everything else. Poorly optimized UE5 games which were not even great or impressive looking with Nanite and Lumen have made my GPU reach 90° no problem and it's housed in a well cooled case, it's not a prebuilt. If a gen old card gets crushed like that at 1440p, let alone UW, you get the idea. I'm getting an RTX 4080 Super this year no questions asked.
@@BetterWarrior Optimizing is not a magical button. You will still need more power to run beautiful games.
That means ron will Not work Like before on Older pc's Cause auf the Update with ue5 🤔
Buy better hardware
@@superflyguy4488 Yoo this was Not the answer on my Question What I waited for !
It depends on how the optimise it tbh. UE5 can still run well on older hardware, but most devs making games on UE5 so far are trying to push for some crazy af graphics n whatnot, so it really depends on how these devs handle it
@@samjackson7574 Thx for this answer ! I hope that it still works on older hardware. With the coming ue5 update .
@@superflyguy4488Buy me better hardware.
Paid DLC on RON? Nah. Thats lame.
I think Its good that they wait a little bit to relies it, so its really in a complete state, unlike other dev studios that drop their games in a uncompleted state !
Void dropped 1.0 is a very uncompleted state and 6 months after launch they've done pretty much nothing to address issues and the laundry list of missing content they said would be there and are now charging people for DLC.
The entitlement of some people disgust me.
Hopefully Void doesn’t let these people ruin the game. If you all want fast, paced games. Go and play Rainbow Six Siege. I do not want Ready or Not turning into another Siege.
Some people’s entitlement disgust me. How do you think games are made? It’s not free.
yaaaaaaay more paid content not buying it theres mods for free
Kinda gay that i have to purchase the dlc to play MAPS. Cosmetics should be bought and maps should be free for everyone.
Purchasing new maps, new stories, new guns and you'll be able to share the game. Bro idk what you're on about.
It’s a single player/Co-Op game, not multiplayer, that monetization strategy likely wouldn’t work. The only reason maps are free in many games is for the sole purpose of not splitting the player base, something that is wholly irrelevant for a game like this. Maybe I come from a different era, but if the content is good and it’s reasonably priced I have no problem paying for it. I understand the argument from people that they removed content just before release, but what is in the game at launch is certainly worth the price point. If you want them to keep creating more content then they need to be able to monetize something, you are already getting the new guns and updates gratis. If you play Co-Op only the host needs to actually purchase the DLC for everyone to play the new maps, this is so much more generous than the crap we had to put up with other titles in years past.
Screw Ready or Not, I am done with the devs. Time for everyone to migrate to BodyCam.
The games aren't comparable. Bodycam, disregarding its incompleteness, doesn't even aim to provide a similar experience. Stop trolling.
I'm having a great time with singleplayer tarkov (the mod)
Not comparable but shooter games in general are in a rough spot. There are not many great games in this genre out there.
Some of these maps look like Bodycam maps..
