Thank you for giving Beaky some screen time here! :') I've seen people completely ignore him and I just couldn't STAND that. When I went on that ride, since I don't like coasters, I ONLY rode it just to get up close to Buckbeak.
Our party of four adults were at Disney and Universal Studios in Florida the first two weeks of August. I suggested half jokingly that we all should go on this ride, and to my surprise everybody was game, even though we expected the line to be all children.. Well, not only do many teens and adults ride it, but the ride is actually a lot of fun and more thrilling than I had expected it to be. I'm very happy we decided to try it. I had no room for my legs whatsoever though, but hey, it only lasts 30 seconds.. ;)
I went on it last year as a break from all the bigger coaster and dark rides, and it was actually pretty good for a junior coaster. It’s short as hell though, it felt like 30 seconds.

@@cursman1289 dude, everyone is different. Coasters aren't for everyone. My fiance can't handle them, which is fine. I have a fear of falling, so I'll never parachute from a plane. Does that make me a wimp? In my mind, no. But to others, I am. Point is, "wimp" is subjective. I don't think you're a wimp. Do whatever makes you comfortable. Don't let people guilt trip you into feeling like you're less of a person for being fearful on a rollercoaster.

There are nets to hold your legs in "place", but there are large gaps in between the front piece of the cart and the back. Basically, the gaps are on the sides so if you are a smaller person......trust me, your legs will be terrified.

@janandaa Yeah, there was artificial snow on all the roofts because it's supposed to be like Hogsmeade, you couldn't go inside of Hagrid's hut, it's just decorative and the castle is like 15 stories tall, is huge and magnificent, you can see from all over Universal Studios. You can't go in the towers, but you can see inside the castle while you wait in line for the simulator ride inside.There's the Defence Against the Dark Arts Room,the Gryffindor Common Room,Dumbledore's office... it's amazing!

Besides, it's more convenient since Florida is already home to several other tourist attractions.

@MrPollitogatito Chain lifts cost more than friction wheel lifts. The only reason Dragons challenge has a chain lift is so they can time them properly.

Really, some of you people should stop complaining about this park being made in the U.S instead of Britain! Be THANKFUL this exists! I know lots of people, (myself included) have been dreaming or waiting for something like this to happen! Be thankful and enjoy it.
I have been on it and i am like you i am not big with rollercosters but i rode it 2 times when i went last christmas and it was soooo fun you will love it dont worry bout it!

@msihavebieberfever if you love crazy rides you should go to cedar point in sandusky ohio, it has one coaster called the top thrill dragster that goes 120 mph in under 4 seconds and it goes over 400 feet staright up and then staright down. theres also a ride called the maverick that has a 95 degree angle drop
What I think people forget that as much of a wonderful tribute this is to Harry Potter- it's there because of Universal Studios, not because of a UK based company.

@ErinsChannel01 Well if you have a normal summer job youll have enough to go in no time. I mean your biggest worry here is the Flight to Florida if its international, if its national its about $200-$500 roundtrip non stop depending on the season. Hotels are cheap, Holiday Inns or Ramadas are like $60-$80 a night and the park is about $65-$75 the entrance. If you find good deals all you need is $500- $600 for 4 days 3 nights. I went for 2 days and all I brought with me was $300, but I drove. =)

I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERY DETAIL OF WWOHP the buckbeak is perfect, the quese is outstanding, and of course this is only 1 of the rides!!!!!!

One of the shortest roller coasters I've ever seen, and one of the least intense ones too.
The view of Hogwarts from this ride gives me goosebumps

This ride is like riding the rides based off kids movies at Disneyland. It might not be the best ride in the park, but you just gotta ride it.
This ride is faster than it looks. I'm not joking. And with the sharp turns even a roller coaster enthusiast like me can get a thrill from this ride.
