The way the show is being run is very odd in so many ways. 1. Pre-voting before the first episode makes no sense, the first rankings are not based on the first episode 2. They didn't air the majority of audition stages, barely over 30% 3. The voting app being 1 star on the app store, apparently its broken with ads 4. The amount of minors below 15, WHY 5. Having only 3 days to prepare the revenge battle must be why there were so many mistakes. Mnet gives trainees at least a week... 6. To me it doesn't seem like there's enough translators present 7. They didn't air an entire section of the winning battle girls choosing the revenge song concepts where they were divided into teams 8. The screen time issue is insane. The show didn't air more then half of the girls auditions in the top 8. Riel (1st), Vanesya (3rd), Vu Linh Dan (4th), Jin Hyeonju (6th), and Lee Sunwoo's (8th) audition battles were not broadcasted.

Ever since the producer of the Produce 101 series came out and said that he was intentionally making the shows out to be “healthy p*rn” for adults I have been radicalized AGAINST survival shows and I still am to this day. THIS SHOW BEING THE EPITOME OF THE REASON WHY!!!! The reason why these shows are still happened in his because not only the international public but the domestic South Korean public is COMPLACENT in the objectification & subjectification of minors!!! They are showing us with their attention & dollars that they do not care about these children being exploited for their own gains. That “healthy p*rn” comment hasn’t left my mind the day of his arrest for rigging the Produce shows. And it rings even harder now that younger contestants as low as ages 13 are now being pushed and subjected to poor filming/working conditions. My stomach turns every time I see a grown adult swoon over A CHILD’s appearance or performances. I’m so scared for those little girls & boys…. They’re being preyed on left right front & center. Nothing is safe for children in the idol industry. That’s why most idols are adamant about never allowing their offspring to become idols- because !!!!THEY KNOW!!!!
Okay I did NOT know this existed at all. Feels like there is a new survival show every other week. Why are there soooo many children on these shows? I swear the number increases every single time. Get out! Go to school! Dance with your friends and then maybe audition somewhere and debut when you're older. I love your survival show recaps and I'm glad it helps me keep up to date with all these shows without having to actually watch them because god bless they are so boring
Honestly I didn’t want to watch the show because I didn’t care that much and because most (if not all) trainees were literal children but after seeing clips of Vanesya I got curious and somehow became so invested now 😭 and I gotta admit it’s pretty fun (not boring at all, especially that the girls’ skills are actually surprisingly good) but I hope the final lineup would not be full of kids. Mostly rooting for the older trainees, and I do agree that if they want to become “idols” they should just go to school/dance with their friends for the meantime and debut later on when they’re older.
I'm also rooting for Riel! She's the first ever Burmese to enter a survival show amd also appear with a big popularity in public. She didn't do well in her first battle as the dance and vocal was kinda lacking in her short video, but her revenge team won this week. She's improving well which im rlly glad abt. Go Riel!
I PROTESTED for Lim Seowon not to debut but koreans seem to really like her. I disagreed, up until I saw the 2nd episode. I think the producers are not gonna let her go, she'll win Universe Ticket. I think they're trying to make her like (Produce 48) Wonyoung
Gosh 12 is very young. And is true that she should be auditioning for big company maybe she got rejected. I would think 1st most people audition in big companies unless their situation financially isn't good and they need to debut asap. That's the only way because I'm sure most kids should know that if you audition now you won't debut for at least 3 years with big companies already debuted their groups. Honestly shes too young I think either her or her parents are impatient or she got rejected from big companies. Because aren't big companies the goal to audition in 1st
As a Burmese who likes to study, another thing I like about Riel is her brain. She transferred from Yangon university of Economics (needs pretty high marks to enter in Myanmar at that time) to Seoul National university.
I do wanna mention that although I was also very disturbed by the number of contestants born after 2006 on the show, they are still able to go to school because of the absurdly long wait periods between each rounds.
what is korea's international calling code? also, 82 contestants is way to much. if they were forming a 12 member gg, i'd understand, but only 8??? & then eliminating half of the contestants already like u could've had 41 girls from the start?
i agree, i honestly think that they wanted to have appeal that the show is very diverse with many contestants from different countries. and then just to kick them off immediately, then they are left with mostly korean trainees. im pretty sure they now have 39 contestants, two left the show/weren't able to come back to korea (i heard this on the universe ticket discord so im not 100% sure this is true or not) but yeah the format and editing of this show generally ticks me off :/
I’m really rooting for Jin hyeongju! You didn’t mention her but you should definitely keep her on the radar too! She placed 6th and is 22 so not a child… and she was my bias in a nugu group cignature and has been a trainee for 6 years and debuted twice already so she’s a really strong performer and I hope she makes it!!
I feel bad for those who are facing difficulty with the language😢......though this show undoubtedly gives exposure and popularity to them, but I hope they also provide enough language lessons to let them manage in this show....😅😅 Also since they have girls representing different countries..each and every of 82 girls should be given a chance to show their skills atleast in first episode as this is voting based program.....

my thoughts on some performances: i don’t think haram was that good tbh. sujin may have not danced & sang at the same time, but i was thoroughly impressed by her performance whereas i feel like haram was trying too hard to be “tough” so to speak… it was just too much energy i also wonder if chaewon’s performance was edited. ik the shorts were only a min long, but she sounded perfectly fine in that one, but the actual performance was just…
i noticed that too! it was totally different from the live ep, they mustve had autotune/pre recorded on the shorts, and then just used live for the full show
i honestly dont even care about age that much anymore, as long as they are talented its not that bad. if they are young and so obviously not skilled than its a lose lose. also ive noticed the editing is so focused on certain trainees (esp young ones) that it really doesnt matter if the people dont want young contestants to win, cause one way or another if the producers want children in their group, they will figure out how to get them in the lineup unfortunately:(

from now, we had 3 voting periods. 1 pre-show 2 after the fancams were uploaded 3 after the first episode (still open) so basically, people started saying that elimination already happened, that being the results of the 2nd voting, and now we're currently voting for the second eliminations it might sound weird since this wasn't explained AT ALL and never mentioned in any of the episodes, there are 2 proof of the elimination already happened as for now may, one of the contestans, is about to debut in a girl group called ''iii'', keep in mind this info is not 100% confirmed. someone also mentioned her name is banned in the fancafe and the other proof is that on the voting page it says ''votes for eliminated contestans will not count'' or something like that. very messy survival show:/

Meaning not even the group performances could give them more votes, that's so sad, and would also explain why sbs didn't even bother to show half of the 1on1 battles (either that or favoritism editing)

I've been watching a couple of review videos about Universe Ticket and I came across a video released just a few days ago (definitely after you released yours) with the same script as yours.
