Nursie Nurse I haven't used the product yet because I don't believe that line is CG friendly from what I saw. I'm going to have to do a little more research on it. It may just be the conditioner that's not CG friendly. I'll check.

Your videos are as entertaining as they are helpful. ☺ I took note of your shingling method and realized exactly what I'm not doing to reduce frizz in my head. Do you wear your hair in protective styles much? I love wearing my hair down, especially in a WnG, but I noticed mine isn't growing as fast. At any rate, I'm gonna deep condition it more. Lawd what remix is that? That was an experience lol- sorry if it was somewhere and I missed it. I really liked how that came out. I've never had wash and go hair but I've also noticed that the argan one is a little heavy for like my twist outs and stuff- also kinda hard to restyle with it as well. I've been using the gorilla snot almost exclusively for the last few months which I think will always be my favorite (especially when used with my new secret weapon product) but I think I might give this a try as well. My friends that aren't black don't really understand that I can have several brands of the same product and they all do different things so its nice to see these comparison videos so I have some reassurance lol

You make me want to revisit the WnG. Mine never come out right. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but practice makes perfect. I have the olive oil ecostyler gel. Maybe I should take notes from you and keep different gels on hand to switch up with
This is right on time. I was contemplating using this gel to style my wash and go tonight. I think I'm going to stick with my eco blue. Based off your comments about your wash and gos, I don't think you'd like the blue eco gel. It has a hold of 5 (though there is a new formula that has a hold of 10, which means on Day 2 my hair is big and blown up. The blue eco gives me day 5 hair on day 2.
Qubilah Huddleston Yeah I don't think a 5 would do well for me at all. Although I don't stretch my wash and go many days... the bigger my hair is... the bigger headache I have detangling lol

Another great wash n go. I'm really trying to be about that curly girl life. I'm finding that I have to cowash every 2-3 days since I'm trying to be consistent about working out. Have you ever tried wetline extreme gel? Love love love your videos.

Hi my friend how are you doing I have questions? to ask you please if you don't mind after you put the conditioner in your hair did you leave it for a couple hours put the shower caps on and leave it as soon the hours is pass after that did you add gels on it with the conditioner

kiki andnoah Thank you. Idk... I think they is just making sure you style your hair in a way that will last in the very beginning. I always say I like my hair very "tame" on Day 1 so if I wanted to, I could stretch it multiple days (like in this video). However, usually I re-style every other day. Sometimes I pineapple but most days I just sleep on my satin pillow case. I do have an old video on how I maintained my hair for 5 days or more but it was before I was CG.. however, it still would work well and the product I used is GG friendly... Funny, I completely hated the smell of this eco styler. I just got it a few days ago and used it, and I wasn't impressed. I was so hopeful since it was my first time using eco styler going completely natural, and I didn't like the result. I'm hesitant to use another after this one, but I hear Oliver oil is a good one.
Have you tried the crystal white eco styler gel? If so, would you use this gel with conditioner for a wash and go? Like,what are your opinions about the white gel. Like does it leave flakes?lol Sorry about all of the questions. .I'm thinking about getting it soon.lol Hair Mary
L Michelle by white do you mean clear (krystal)? that's the only gel I know from Eco similar. Eco has a curling custard that is white (with a blue top) but it not gel. I can't give an opinion on that one because it's not CG friendly, but the clear gel works fine. All the gels pretty much give me the same results.
Oh ok,I meant say the crystal gel.lol I recently picked up the argon oil gel,I'm crossing my fingers that it'll mix well with the tresseme conditioner.😭😔
L Michelle I haven't had any problems with it mixing with tresemme. I've been mixing those exact two for the last month.

I had the same problem with it taking me longer to work the product in. I even had to move a chair in my bathroom to finish my hair because my back started hurting which usually never happens. I made the mistake of buying a big tub of it which means I'll have it awhile. Definitely not my fave!

I have been natural for 9 years now. I have not taken care of my hair so it grows and breaks a lot. does the Eco styler gel dry your hair out?
Not if you condition and moisturize before applying. I didn't use gels for years because I thought it would be drying. But my hair is surprisingly soft. Also depends on how much you use. Wet Line Extreme Gel doesn't have protein.

all ecostylers are going to have a "gel cast" when they first dry.. I just scrunch out the crunch

It’s a gel so it’s always going to dry with a gel cast but once it’s scrunched out it leaves the hair soft

I don't like using gel for my twist outs but it's a personal preference... try it and see how it works for you
