They need to do the crankbaits better. All we get to choose from is hook size, we need diving depth choices too. Also, power baits would be an interesting addition.
Oh wow that casting though 😔 the lob cast looks crazy. Dudes still swinging the rod and the bait already hit the water 😞 Edit: seems like PC players still have a fast casting animation. On console the animation looks too slow to throw the bait out.
guys, try jigging in a deep lake as usual. I am jigging for lakers and the system we had before has totally changed. My jighead does not reach the depth that the hud reads. Short and long cast dont work like before and the casting animation lags too.
I understand that people wanted more fish but I don’t think anyone wants to fish for tiny fish I haven’t played in awhile seen a update about new fish was thinking about going back but not to small fish
basically a dead game. fishing is a niche genre and the casualized, arcadey nature of The Angler just didn't draw anyone away from the more serious sims of RF4 and Fishing Planet.

The casting is horrible on console. put it back to the way it was.
What’s wrong with it? I’ve been playin quite a lot. I played last night and I played this morning and didn’t notice a difference.
It’s kinda weird lol, I had to practice releasing the trigger for a decent cast

jigging for lakers is broken with this update, short cast sinks to only 20+ feet when the hud reads there is over 100 feet deep

Diamonds are broken on Golden ridge
Seems like they were always broken for me, took me over a month to get a diamond Pike.
